IRAN: Tehran Men Start Trading Beards for Bus Tickets

Faced with a transit shortage, Tehran men have begun shaving their beards in exchange for bus tickets. One driver in Karaj reportedly accepted a full beard in return for front-row seating and a half-bag of sunflower seeds. The new barter trend, dubbed �Beard4Bus,� has swept social media. �Hair is temporary,� said one participant. �Escape is forever.� Beauty salons are now doubling as transport hubs. �We buzz, you board,� said one stylist with clippers in one hand and a bus schedule in the other.
