At the Kuksaray Residence, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with young people, attended by more than 60,000 youth representatives from across the regions.

It was emphasized that over 22 million young people in Uzbekistan possess enormous potential in the country’s economic, social, and political life.

New measures were outlined to support youth in learning foreign languages, acquiring professions, engaging in sports and entrepreneurship, and promoting ideas and startups.

For example, it is planned to allocate an additional $200 million, increase loan volumes, expand investment opportunities for startup and business projects, and establish business incubators.

A NEW ERA OF OPPORTUNITIES:

YOUTH INITIATIVE – THE MAIN DRIVER OF NEW UZBEKISTAN’S DEVELOPMENT

Additional opportunities were defined to support open dialogue with youth and their initiatives.

At the new stage of Uzbekistan’s development, one of the highest priorities is youth policy and unlocking the intellectual, economic, and social potential of young people. The latest meeting and open dialogue chaired by the head of state was significant in strengthening this strategic direction. Thousands of young people from different regions participated, while hundreds of thousands followed online.

This dialogue was not just a meeting, but an important socio-political event in which concrete decisions affecting the country’s future were made and comprehensive programs aimed at youth interests were defined.

YOUTH – THE COUNTRY’S GREATEST WEALTH

Today, the majority of Uzbekistan’s population consists of young people. Therefore, the country’s future, economy, science and technology, culture, and overall development directly depend on their knowledge and initiative.

During the dialogue, special attention was given to unlocking youth potential, teaching modern professions, and widely involving young people in foreign languages, information technologies, and entrepreneurship. Most importantly, clear financial, organizational, and legal mechanisms were defined.

Additional financial resources will be allocated to support youth projects and initiatives, preferential loans will be increased, and grant and investment opportunities expanded. These are not just numbers, but real opportunities for thousands of young people to fulfill their dreams.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS – THE ENGINE OF ECONOMIC GROWTH

Global experience shows that the key factor of innovative economy and sustainable growth is young entrepreneurs. In this regard, tasks were set to expand the “Youth Business Incubator” system, finance startup projects, and launch special programs to implement advanced ideas.

These initiatives aim to transform young people from job seekers into job creators. Special mechanisms will be developed to improve the entrepreneurial environment in regions and involve youth in small business and services.

Simplified procedures for preferential loans and eased collateral requirements will significantly encourage young entrepreneurs. Today’s decisions will lay the foundation for thousands of new enterprises, innovative productions, and export-oriented products tomorrow.

LANGUAGE AND PROFESSION – THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Education issues took center stage. Specific tasks were defined to strengthen foreign language learning, develop IT skills, and expand opportunities for obtaining international certificates.

Today, a diploma alone is not enough to be competitive. Deep knowledge, practical skills, and mastery of modern technologies are essential. Therefore, special focus is placed on training youth in modern professions, organizing short-term intensive courses, and developing dual education in cooperation with employers.

Vocational centers in every district and city will expand, be equipped with modern equipment, and attract qualified specialists.

A NEW STAGE IN YOUTH POLICY

In New Uzbekistan, youth policy has become not just a social program but a strategic direction of state development. This dialogue marked its next practical phase.

Listening to youth problems, supporting their initiatives, removing bureaucratic barriers, and orienting government bodies toward youth interests have become essential parts of ongoing reforms.

At the same time, raising legal awareness, strengthening patriotism, and preserving spiritual values were emphasized as priorities. Economic growth is effective only when combined with moral stability.

THE FUTURE IS IN THE HANDS OF YOUTH

The ideas voiced and decisions made once again confirmed: the future of New Uzbekistan is in the hands of youth. The state trusts them, creates opportunities, and supports them.

Additional funds, grants, preferential loans, and educational opportunities are investments in the country’s future.

Now the main task is to use these opportunities effectively. Where opportunity exists, results follow.

Recent reforms have created an atmosphere of openness, justice, and opportunity. This meeting with youth became a logical continuation of these reforms.
