STAR SAND IN THE MAKING

Roger Pulvers arrived in Japan in 1967, exactly 50 years ago, from his native United States. Over the years he became friends with scores of Japanese writers, actors, directors, artists and other practitioners of the arts in this country.

In 2016, at age 72, he made STAR SAND, his first feature film – a Japanese film in every sense – based on the novel he wrote in Japanese.
