INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

This ROM is File Based Encryption (FBE) With HMP Kernel.

Before installing this ROM, you have to unlock your bootloader and have custom recovery (TWRP/PBRP/OrangeFox/,Etc.)

Basic knowledge for AncientOS Lavender :

1. If you are from MIUI ROM, you MUST FORMAT DATA (NOT just wipe data) from custom recovery.

2. If you are from FDE custom ROM, you MUST FORMAT DATA also.

3. If you are from FBE custom ROM, always better to do a clean flash.

4. If you are form previous AncientOS version and want to update, there are some conditions you should know :

  (4.A) if you are from Vanilla Build and want to update to the newer Vanilla Build, you can just install the updates without wipe your data partitions.

  (4.B) If you are from Vanilla Build and want to update to the newer Gapps Build,

you can just install the updates without wipe your data partitions.

  (4.C) if you are from Gapps Build and want to update to the newer Gapps Build, you can just install the updates you can just install the updates without wipe your data.

  (4.D) if you are from Gapps Build and want to update to the newer Vanilla Build, you MUST CLEAN FLASH.

These procedure for both Civilization Variant and Waebo Variant.

If you face Force close while select grid option on Themes, the FIX is HERE 

Flash it from recovery and grid option will be fine.
