INFORMATION on the distribution of the state budget for financing health care

In 2016, 6 billion sums from the state budget were allocated for healthcare, and in 2020 the amount allotted will equal to 14.8 billion sums (almost 2.5 times more than in 2016, or 1.23 times more than in 2019).

In addition, in 2020, the purchase of medicines and medical equipment will amount to 1,491.8 billion sums (this amount is 6.5 times more than in 2016 or 36% more than in 2019).

Funds allocated in the context of certain types of healthcare activities:

a) Funds for provision of first aid institutions with medicaments and medical equipment will amount to 102.8 billion sums in 2020 (in 2016, the amount allotted amounted to 16.3 billion sums).

b) The budget funds allocated to cover the costs of providing medicines (per day) and medical supplies to each patient undergoing treatment at oncological institutions increased from 3250 sums in 2016 to 66 227 sums in 2020.

c) In 2020, 6,700 sums will be allocated for each first aid call from the popultion, while in 2016 this amount equalled to 482 sums.
