III. 23. Aaron
Bogdan Georgievich LisitsaAaron / Harun is the first Jewish high priest, whose descendants were priests in the Jerusalem temple.
The difference between Moses and Aaron was that Moses called himself the Son of God (Geb), and Aaron - the slave of God (Geb). Similarly, Jesus Christ called himself the Son of God, and Saul (the little / Paul) - a slave.
In ancient Greek mythology, Aaron corresponds to Agenor. The name Aaron / Harun is close to the name Agenor. The names of both spouses are also close. Telephassa, the wife of Agenor, corresponds to Elizabeth, the wife of Aaron.
Telephassa = Elizabeth
Telephassa ≈ elephassaT ≈ elessaphaT = Elizabeth
Agenor is the king of Tyre or Sidon. This means that during the conquest of the Promised Land, Aaron's descendants conquered Tyre or Sidon and became kings there.
Aaron and Moses were adopted by the Pharaoh's daughter. In fact, she took these religious leaders and their followers under her protection. The same story is described in the myth of the nymph Libya, the daughter of the Egyptian king Epaphus. Libya became pregnant by the sea god Poseidon and gave birth to twins - Agenor (Aaron) and Bel (Moses). Agenor became the king of Sidon or Tyre, and Bel reigned in Egypt. According to other versions, Agenor was the son of Bel, which means that at some point Aaron was a disciple of Moses.
"The city of Agenor" - this is how Virgil calls Carthage, a colony of Tyre. The genealogy of Dido, the legendary founder of Carthage, was traced to Agenor (Aaron). When Zeus in the form of a bull kidnapped Europa, Agenor sent his sons to search for her and forbade them to return without their sister. Europa was never found, and the Agenorids scattered throughout the Eastern Mediterranean. Cadmus became the founder of Thebes, Europa's son Minos became the king of Crete, and Phineus became the king of Thrace. The names of Cilicia and Phoenix became the eponyms of Cilicia and Phoenicia, and the name Thasos became the eponym of an island in the northern Aegean Sea. This myth demonstrates the ancient ties between island and mainland Hellas and Phoenicia. The name Agenor is also borne by a number of mythological characters, legends about whom were localized in Arcadia, Argos, Achaea, and Aetolia. This means that initially it was about one hero - Aaron, or more precisely, about two - Moses and Aaron. After the descendants of Moses and Aaron conquered the world, different regions of Hellas became connected with the Eastern Mediterranean.
