III. 22. Judah
Bogdan Georgievich LisitsaJudah is considered one of the tribes of Israel. According to biblical tradition, it comes from Judah, the fourth son of the patriarch Jacob from Leah (Gen. 29:35). Also, the religion of Judaism was later named after Judah. After the death of King Solomon, his kingdom was divided, and the tribe of Judah created a separate Kingdom of Judah, which occupied the southern part of the kingdom of the times of David and Solomon with its capital in Jerusalem. It existed until its conquest by Nebuchadnezzar II in 586 BC.
The name Judah is a variation of the word "tsekh" (guild):
Ehud = Djehuti (Thoth)
The lands of the tribe of Judah are the territory captured by the followers of Aaron and Bezalel, representatives of the guild, of Armenian origin.
The Book of Judges describes mainly the wars of the Northern Tribes (Israel) against the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites and Jebusites. The tribe of Judah did not participate in these wars, since at that time the people of Judah were one of the listed peoples. Jerusalem was called Jebus, which means Ibis. They were the people of Bezalel, the guild-Judah. David conquered Jebus-Jerusalem and ended the history of the guild-Judah. Before this, the tribe of Judah had the same identity as the Philistines, Pelasgians, followers of Aaron and Bezaliel and enemies of Moses. In modern language, David's conquest of Jerusalem led to the destruction of the corporation of Judah and the creation of a state.
