III. 21. Pelasgians
Bogdan Georgievich LisitsaPelasgians, Leleges - a group of highly developed tribes in the ancient world. They mastered metalworking and other crafts. Settling throughout the ancient world, they spread knowledge and skills. The name Pelasgians comes from the name Bezalel (Veseleil). The name Lelegs is a variation of the Ukrainian word "leleki" (storks). In ancient Greek mythology, the nymph Libya (White, aka Sarah) gave birth to twins Bel-Moses (king of Egypt) and Agenor-Aaron (king of Tyre in Phoenicia), as well as Leleg (Veseleil). Leleg-Veseleil was close to Aaron-Agenor and participated in the conspiracy against Moses. Sometimes ancient authors call Agenor the king of Thrace, since one of his sons ruled in this country. During the mass migrations, some of the Pelasgians settled in Thrace and created their own state there. The Philistines were also Pelasgians by origin.
