III. 16. Minos-Moses

III. 16. Minos-Moses

Bogdan Georgievich Lisitsa

Minos is a just and righteous king whose kingdom was located in the Eastern Mediterranean. There were two Minoses - the ancient and the new, who imitated the ancient in everything. The ancient Minos is Ham-Marduk, the new is Moses.

Minos was the founder of the Cretan maritime domination. He introduced legislation to Crete and created the Minoan civilization, the maritime empire "Thalassocracy of Minos". In this case, we are talking about Moses, or rather his successors. Minos retired to the cave of Zeus once every nine years to receive laws from him. This is a retelling of the Bible, which states that Moses ascended to God on the mountain to receive laws. If we combine both versions, it turns out that Moses ascended the mountain where the cave was, and received laws in this cave. Although Moses was killed during the conquest of the Promised Land, his successors spread his teachings and laws to various countries, including Crete.

After the death of Asterius, Minos began to lay claim to the throne, claiming that he was destined for this by the gods and that every prayer of his would be heard and fulfilled. In the end, he succeeded in coming to power. Here we are talking about Moses.

When Minos asked Poseidon to send him an animal for sacrifice, he sent him a snow-white bull from the sea, but, amazed by its magnificence, Minos sent the bull to his herds and sacrificed another. This motif is present in the story of Abraham replacing Isaac with a ram. Abraham and Moses are one and the same person.
