Bogdan Georgievich Lisitsa

Manu is a man saved by Vishnu from the Great Flood, the progenitor of the human race. He is also the first king to rule the earth. Manu possesses great piety and wisdom. Manu is Ham-Nag, the name Manu is a variation of the name Ham-Nag / Ham Snake.

Manu ≈ x Manu g ≈ xMa nug = Ham Nag

Each Manu is believed to rule for a period of time called a manvantara. 14 manvantaras make up one kalpa, or one day in the life of the creator of the Universe - Brahma. Manu's reign for a huge number of years means that he was revered as a God for so long. This was his era.

In the Hindu tradition, Svayambhuva Manu is considered to be the author of the Manava-grihyasutra, the Manava-shulbasutra and the Manu-smriti. The Manu-smriti is accepted by many Hindus as a collection of laws for followers of Hinduism and is considered the oldest and most important text of all the Dharma-shastas.
