II. 18. The emergence of the Masons

Free Masons are one of the most influential organizations in the world, and perhaps the most ancient. The name means "free masons." Initially, Masonic masons worked hard in the mines for the reptiles. After the overthrow of the power of the reptiles, most of the economic and industrial facilities, including mines and quarries, stopped. The slaves were freed and fled. But the workers of some mines managed to self-organize and continue working. They formed the backbone around which, over time, a huge and powerful organization grew. For a long time, workers who knew how to craft stone were highly valued. But the organization they created far surpassed the power of many scattered masons. Modern Masonic masons are left with only aprons, squares and compasses, which are only symbols and a reminder of where they came from.
