II. 14. Seth

II. 14. Seth

Seth is the god of Ancient Egypt, the lord of military valor and courage. Initially, he was considered the protector of the sun-Ra from Apophis and the patron of royal power, his name was included in the titles and names of a number of pharaohs. Later, he was demonized and declared the god of rage, sandstorms, war, destruction, chaos and death.

Ancient myths tell us that Seth was subject to castration and deprived of the main part of his essence. In this form, information about the mass castration of boys during the reign of reptiles over people has been preserved.

According to legend, the gods decided to burn the condemned Seth, who turned into a panther. This means that the reptiles burned people en masse who died during hard labor. Anubis removed Seth's skin, put it on himself and went to the sanctuary of Osiris, where he burned his sign on the skin with a hot iron. This means that reptiles burned brands on people.

According to legend, Seth's front leg, cut off in battle, was thrown into the northern part of the sky. The gods chained it with golden chains to the eternal supports of the heavens and put a formidable hippopotamus to guard it - Isis Hesamut. The name Hesamut is read in Slavic languages, it means "Mother of Kush". Hesamut is the mother of the king of the snake Shesha, whose residence was in ancient Kyiv, which is located to the north relative to Egypt.

Seth is a warrior god with red burning eyes and a red mane. The red color of the eyes brings him closer to the red owl - the great mother Lilith. In later eras, a creature similar to the description of the "beast of Seth" is mentioned in Arabic texts as "salawa", which is close to the word "Sova" (owl). Seth is depicted with the head of an aardvark or a donkey. The bird was replaced by an aardvark/donkey. In ancient times, it was the head of a bird, and the long snout of an aardvark or donkey appeared in place of the bird's beak. The archaic god Ash is a confirmation of this. Ash is clearly a bird with a long beak. The name Ash is close to "ish" in Hebrew, meaning "man" and is applied to Adam. The sacred bird of Ash was considered a falcon. Later, the Hyskoses identified Ash with Seth.

The name Seth is close to the word "sova" (owl) and the name of the people "Scythians".

Seth = [Son of] Sova (Owl) = Scythians

Since the red color of Seth is also the color of the desert sand in Egypt, this became one of the "reasons" for his subsequent demonization.

Seth was the youngest son of the god Geb. In fact, Seth was the god of the Hittites, and the Egyptians considered the Hittites their younger brothers. In the treaty between Ramses II and the Hittites, Seth is mentioned along with the Hittite gods. Geb, the Egyptian god, was considered the eldest, and Seth, the Hittite god, was the youngest. From the Hittites' point of view, it was the other way around: the Hittite gods were the eldest, and the Egyptian gods were the youngest.

Seth's birthday, the third day before the New Year, was considered unlucky for all of Egypt; on this day, they tried not to do any important work. For the Hittites, on the contrary, this day was lucky.

In the Predynastic Period, Seth was the deity of metals. The homeland of metalworking is Anatolia (and the Caucasus), where the Hittites, related to the Hyksos, came from. In the Bible, Tubal-Cain is named as the founder of metalworking. He is also the Coven of the country of Tubal, the organ of the highest authority of the country of Tubal. Seth is an alien deity in Egypt.

Since ancient times, Seth has been associated with male sexual power, which brings him closer to Min, another hypostasis of Geb / Ham.

The attributes of Seth's power are Uas, a long staff with a forked end and a top in the form of the head of the animal god Seth, and the Ankh.

Ankh is a cross topped with a ring, an ancient Egyptian symbol, "key of life", "key of the Nile", "bow of life", "knot of life", "cross with a loop", "Egyptian cross", "crux ansata".

Ankh is a variation of arcan of the Geb and the Arc of the Covenant. The name "Ankh" is close to the word "onkh" - this is how the word meaning "life" is pronounced in the Coptic language. Ham-Marduk liberated humanity and made a Covenant with them, only then did humanity begin to live.

Under the Hyksos, Seth was identified with their god Baal, and the place of his cult as the main god was the capital of Egypt, Avaris. Baal is the deified Moses.

According to ancient Egyptian mythology, Seth's wife Nephthys fell in love with Osiris and, taking the form of his wife Isis, conceived a son, Anubis. According to other versions of the myth, Anubis's father was Seth or Ra. Fearing her husband's wrath, Nephthys abandoned the baby in the reeds, where Isis found him with the help of dogs. The Bible contains the same myth about the baby Moses, whom his mother hid in the reeds and the pharaoh's daughter found. Since Moses-Baal was identified with Seth, this myth was transferred to him.

Over time, Seth was vilified as much as possible and proclaimed the father of all evil in the world. Satan is a variation of the name Seth, they are the same person. This is how Satan appeared.
