IBK Industrial Bank of Korea has emerged as a strong candidate for the next season through the recruitment of a big player in the free contract FA market.
IBK signed FA contracts with Lee So-young and Lee Ju-ah on Thursday. Lee signed a three-year contract worth 700 million won 450 million won per year and 250 million won per year, while Lee signed a three-year contract worth 400 million won 330 million won per year and 70 million won per year. The bank invested 3.3 billion won in recruiting the two players.
All of them are national team resources. There is no need to doubt their performance.
Lee So-young, who played for Jeonggwanjang, drew attention as soon as the FA market opened. Lee is an outside heater who combines offense and defense. She started the season late last season due to shoulder surgery. However, she showed stellar performance from the second round. She played in 26 games with a success rate of 37.95 percent on offense and 43.8 percent on reception efficiency, helping Jeonggwanjang to take the spring volleyball stage for the first time in seven years.
Due to his ankle injury sustained at the end of the regular season, he has not played a single game in the post season. Some forecast that he would not receive high marks in the FA market. However, he can expect to see stable performance in offense and defense.

Middle blocker Lee Ju-ah, who played for Heungkuk Life Insurance, earned her first FA qualification.
With the recruitment of Lee Ju-ah, the central line of the IBK has been strengthened. Lee ranked 4th in score and blocking 0.617 per set and 5th in fastball 47.03 percent in this season.
Having recruited Lee So-young and Lee Ju-ah at the same time, Industrial Bank of Korea has set up a lineup that is comparable to that of the national team in the new season with Kim Hee-jin, Choi Jung-min and Pyo Seung-joo. In particular, Pyo is playing the role of a Korean ace, ranking second in scoring 434 points and second in overall offense 35.66 percent in the team after foreign player Abercrombie.
The IBK ranked fifth this season. The last spring volleyball tournament was three years ago, and the last championship was seven years ago.
