Kim Ha-seong (29, San Diego Padres), who was hit on the left wrist by a fastball, will overcome the aftermath of a four-ball hit and play as a starter.

Ha-seong Kim was included as the 9th hitter and shortstop in the starting lineup for the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) game against the Colorado Rockies held at Petco Park in San Diego, California, USA on the 14th (Korean time).

Ha-seong Kim was hit by an opposing pitcher's ball during a home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the 13th. During his second at-bat in the 4th inning, a 94.4 mph (approximately 151.9 km) sinker thrown by Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler struck his left wrist.

Kim Ha-seong, who was complaining of extreme pain, walked to first base, and when the follow-up batter hit an infield grounder, he was thrown out at second base and returned to the dugout.

However, he was replaced in the top of the 5th inning when he was on defense.

Immediately after his injury, an X-ray revealed that he had fortunately avoided a fracture.

San Diego coach Mike Silt said in an interview with local reporters after the game, “No fractures were found in Kim Ha-seong’s X-ray examination.” Ha-seong Kim also said in an interview with local media, “It’s a lot better now.” There seemed to be a possibility that he would start the game on the bench, but Ha-seong Kim was named to the starting lineup just like the day before.  안전 슬롯사이트
