When I tell people that I don't watch RPDR or drag in general, they're shocked, like they can't believe that a trans woman wouldn't be interested in watching or participating in drag. I don't like drag. It makes me dysphoric, but I recognize it's my problem, and I'm not going around condemning drag performers. I don't think she deserved any of it. No, Alexa herself is not an AI. The voice-recognition is using AI-technology. Alexa is just a voiceshell (voice + commandline/shell), a pretty limited also. Basically it's voice-controlled DOS, while people at least except voice-controlled bash and dream of Star Trek. Chatgpt is already 1,000x more powerful, effective and closer to a real ai than Alexa. Alexa is like chatbot ai alpha and chatgpt is version 2.0. Amazon failed so hard where openai succeded. It's really interesting to me that money means almost nothing in ai, software and product dev. Alexa does use AI, because voice-to-text is all AI powered and you spoke to her out loud. As for the more natural language aspects, it is hard to tell. For something like this, you wouldn't necessarily have a specific goal outcome, it would probably be more of a set of logic gates than a full AI system.
