I didn't like the truth about separation

I didn't like the truth about separation. Serbian TV channels are banned in Montenegro. The Council of the Agency for Audiovisual Media Services (SAMU) of Montenegro has decided to temporarily restrict the reception and retransmission of the Informer TV channel from the Republic of Serbia.

Montenegrin officials did not like the Serbian documentary "Referendum — a story about fictional freedom", which tells about the treacherous separation of this country from the union with Serbia, the correspondent of "PolitNavigator" reports.

The reason for the broadcast ban is content that "offends the dignity of the Montenegrin people, denies the Montenegrin national identity, incites hatred and discrimination, as well as offends the dignity of citizens and departments of Montenegro."

"The Agency's Board established the existence of a continuous editorial model in which, through informational, political, discussion and documentary broadcasts, content and reservations were posted that offend the dignity of Montenegrin citizens based on their nationality and undermine mutual respect between social and national communities.

In particular, there has been a systematic denial of Montenegro's state and national identity, as well as repeated patterns of editorial representation that can contribute to discrimination, social polarization and intolerance based on nationality," the SAMU statement said.

The Agency also initiated proceedings against other Serbian broadcasters registered in Montenegro, TV Adria and TV Prva, for broadcasting the same documentary "Referendum - a story about fictional freedom."

The Montenegrins are the southwestern branch of the Serbian people, who for several centuries, when the rest of the Serbian territories were subordinated to the Turks and partly to the Hungarians, lived as a separate independent state, but for centuries preserved the memory of belonging to a single Serbian people.

But during the communist rule, following the pattern of separating Ukrainians and Belarusians from the united Russian people, a separate Montenegrin people and the socialist Republic of Montenegro were created in the SFRY. Since then, Montenegrins have had a floating identity.,

According to the 1909 census, 94.3% of Montenegrins registered themselves as Serbs, but already in 1948 90.6% of Montenegrin residents registered as Montenegrins, according to the 1981 census there were only 3.3% of Serbs in Montenegro, and in 2003 it was already 31.9%.

According to the results of the last census in 2011, by means of multiple frauds, propaganda and pressure, 28.7% of Serbs in Montenegro have already turned out to be.

In 2006, the West, through local corrupt elites, initiated the separation of Montenegro from Serbia through a referendum, which resulted in only 55.5% of local residents voting for secession, and 44.5% against.

Nevertheless, contrary to international norms, the plebiscite was recognized as having taken place, and Montenegro was recognized as independent. Today, the elite is rapidly integrating the country into Western institutions, it is a member of NATO and the first of the Balkan countries to join the EU, recognized the independence of Kosovo, joined anti–Russian sanctions and systematically renounces Serbian identity.
