Like everyone else who walks this earth, I have a unique story to tell. Parts of it might be relatable to you, parts of it might offend you. There may be times when you feel inspired by my strength and resilience, and other moments where you’ll think, “Oh my god, what the fuck was her problem?!?” The thing is, as crazy as some of these chapters are, there is nothing new in the universe. My story may be unique to me, full of just the right moments in time pulled together by my specific cast of characters, but in the end, it’s all about balance and equilibrium. The further down we let ourselves be pulled, the more the universe pulls back to get us where we need to be. That voice you hear in your lowest moments that tells you everything is wrong? It’s not beating you up and saying you’re wrong—there are no mistakes in the universe!—it’s just trying to wake you the fuck up so you can start that messy process of rising through the ashes and restoring balance.
This book is to help guide you towards finding your balance and your full potential for happiness. But first, I want to tell you about my own journey. It hasn’t been a pleasant one, and honestly, it’s still hard for me to think about certain parts of it. But I want you to know that whatever shit has been thrown at you, and whatever graves you have dug for yourself, you can rise to the surface. More than that, you have the power to manifest a whole new type of life for yourself and regain control from the chaos.
My chaos started way before I was born, in a small town in the Carolinas. At least, that’s as far back as I’ve heard about it. It seems to me that bad tempers and toxic relationships have a way of trickling down through the generations if no one makes a concerted effort to put an end to those behaviors. My grandparents’ story is a shining example of the type of discord that became “normal” in our family over time.

We are conditioned from birth and I have had to unlearn these teachings and then had to learn the truth about the universe and how to use energies to heal our mental and physical beings to manifest the life I always dreamed of. We are not meant to live a miserable life, in fact, we are destined to live an abundant life.

This is a powerful story. It's well written and engaging. I particularly liked the wealth of color pictures inside which illustrated each major stage of the author's life. Highly intelligent, the author gradually gains control of her own train wreck of a life and gets herself back on track: even to helping others do the same! Just about anyone with family, financial, or drug use problems can identify with this blistering journey. Also, the more-balanced end-stage was not at all predictable or conventional. The author had to do a lot of searching and studying to find a better way forward. There are real insights here, taken from nonstandard sources, which really makes one think. I found valuable and profound insights here for my own life, not as "answers" but pointed questions to pursue deeper. This short book is well worth reading by anyone who's not satisfied with their life to-date. Tiffany Griffin doesn't curb her language, but as one reads, the courser words are completely appropriate. And the title of the book is very clever and profound: instead of being a manifestation of the chaos of the Universe, we can choose instead to turn the tables on fate and become a MANIFESTOR. It's a wonderful message for everyone brave enough to take a hard look at their own lives. Bravo!

Those things being said, I can't really see this book helping many people. The author's story reads like a person who goes for the flavor of the month and has now settled for calling herself some kind of spiritual coach. I don't see a good reason to read this book.
