I. 37. Sumer
Bogdan Georgievich LisitsaAncient Sumer is considered one of the first civilizations created by people. At the initial stage, Sumer was a large agricultural land for feeding workers in diamond and gold quarries on the site of the Black Sea and their owners. Here, people worked as slaves in agriculture. Over time, city-states appeared.
Ki-en-gi(-r) is the original name of Sumer, the country where the first people settled from a giant quarry (the Black Sea) and built their first civilization here. The etymology of this word confirms that the first people were slaves. The name Sumer / Ki-en-gi(-r) means "prison", and is associated with the words "plowman", "plow", "gold" in different languages. In different languages, these words are related to each other, often similar, often a play on words occurs.
Tarunku – prison in Makassa
Tarunku ≈ ku un Tar = Ki-en-gi(-r)
Turuṅga – prison in Marathi
Turuṅga ≈ Ga uṅ Tur = Ki-en-gi(-r)
Karagar – prison in Maithili
Karagar = Ki-en-gi(-r)
Kaaraagaar – prison in Hindi
Kaaraagaar = Ki-en-gi(-r)
Shudgor – plowman in Uzbek, Tajik
Shudgor = Ki-en-gi(-r)
The word “plough” in different languages is related to the name “Ki-en-gi(-r)” (prison / Sumer):
Nangol – plough in Assamese
Nagula – plough in Sinhalese
Thwngdi – plough in Kokborok
Nēgilu – plough in Kannada.
Angady – plough in Malagasy
In Bashkir the word for plough is Tyrma, which sounds similar to the word “Turma / Prison” in Slavic languages. This means that initially, agricultural work was suffering for people.
The hard work of the first people on the agricultural lands of intelligent reptiles is described in the Bible as their stay in the Garden of Eden:
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
(Genesis 2:15)
Another text of the Bible describes the hard work of the first people in agriculture:
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
(Genesis 5:28-29)
