I. 14. Anatolia

I. 14. Anatolia

Bogdan Georgievich Lisitsa

Anatolia is the ancient name of Asia Minor. Here was one of the most ancient centers of blacksmithing and metalworking, and here people first began to make iron tools, the Iron Age began. Anatolia was also originally a dump of recycled earth and rock from a giant quarry on the site of the current Black Sea. The name Anatolia is close to the names associated with garbage dumps in different languages. Like the name of the tribe "Tuval", the name Anatolia is a variation of the word "dump".
