Ryu Hyun-jin (Toronto Blue Jays) is expected to make his next start after being hit in the knee by a hard hit ball.

Ryu, who returned to the big leagues 14 months after undergoing left elbow ligament reconstruction surgery, was hit by a hard-hit ball the day before in his second start against the Cleveland Indians.


In the bottom of the fourth inning, Oscar Gonzalez's 157-mile-per-hour fastball hit Ryu in the right knee. Despite the pain, Ryu caught the ball and threw to first base for the out before collapsing to the ground.
