I still remember when my kid starting speaking. He never used to address his father as 'papa', left alone the fact how many times taught to. He used to address him as 'Office Mumma'. What a lesson to learn from a little mind. For him there was a 'Home-Mumma' taking care of him endlessly and one 'Office-Mumma' who is going out to earn and get things for him. Think once what he actually meant. You don't always have to be a Papa, you can be a Mumma/Papa for every need. We used to take pride both ways!
Weather you are working for wages, for social status, for career prospects, for self satisfaction, for better finances, out of pressure, out of fun or may be any other reason... Keep working. But at least give equal and due respect to those who are full time working sitting at home only. As, charity begins from home, similarly, I believe respect also begins from home. So, calling out all Husband's, families, friends and the critically acclaimed world... Start respecting 'House Wives'.Not everyone is lucky or unlucky ( as you may consider) as you are to go out and fulfill your dreams. Either stop using the term or change the perspective towards the term. She is in fact your 'Home Maker'.
By God's grace I am one of those previledged ones who is never questioned on not going out and working or working part time/full time as and when situation permits or even sometimes Freelancing as per my will. I get support from my well deserved to be called as a 'husband' and understanding kids. In those lines, I am truly a life partner or a 'Wife' only to my better half and not a 'House Wife'! Touch wood!!
So guys, please think 'W' : Wisely, Waiver off the archaic thoughts and start Worshiping your own eminence. B coz, you are truly Worth it!
