Hello, I just bought this game and I wanted to install the uncensored patch, however, when I clicked on the link I noticed that the website no longer loads. Did they take it down? If so, is there a way I can manually enable the uncensored version or download it from somewhere else? Thanks!
If you still need help, What worked for me was making a copy of the dll file in the game files and renaming it huniepop_uncensored_patch.game, making sure to get rid of the .dll, and keeping it in the same place as the .exe and .dll file.
HuniePop 2 GOG version is the only version that needs the de-censor patch. Version in EVERY other store doesn't need it, it just contains in-game censored/uncensored switch.

The "patch" for HuniePop isn't really a patch at all. The game simply checks if "huniepop_uncensored_patch.game" exists in the game folder when launching the game, and if it is, the game will pull the uncensored game assets. Also, you might want to go back into folder options and put the "hide extensions for known files types" option back on.

If you can't download the file, just open textEdit and create a new file, saving it as huniepop_uncensored_patch.game then place it in the folder at this location: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/HuniePop or if you can download that file, put it in the aforementioned location.
Even with this unchecked, if you make/add a text file and just rename it, it will always be a .txt file. you have to open your text file you created and then save as -> file name huniepop_uncensored_patch.game -> Save as File, make it drop down and select All Files. This will make sure it doesnt save it as a .txt file but as the extension you need.
