Give Kyu the dirty magazine and the box of tissues and she will give you a date gift and a "strange object". Keep the strange object in your inventory (not the "gifts and food" tab, the inventory, this is important), along with the gold fish you bought earlier.
You can exchange the Tissue Box for a new special date gift that you can't get any other way. If you happen to have tossed away a pair of panties, you will now be able to re-earn them by spending the night with that girl again.
The tissue issue, unraveled! Seeing as the recent Valentine update added a use for the tissues, I've come here to tell you guys about my findings. It's actually quite simple, you just give tissues to Kyu for an exclusive date gift. It's actually a Kyu plushie that doubles the current passion level and costs 10 sentiment to use
Kyu Plushie (give Kyu the box of tissues and dirty magazine once you can date her) to DOUBLE your existing passion meaning you only have to manually get to lv 8 and then drop this gift to shoot to max lv 16

Have the "Weird thing" (unlock it by giving Kyu the Tissue Box and Dirty Magazine you start with) in your gifts tab and if you leave the location, Celeste will appear. I assume some People ♥♥♥♥ this step up because they didn't read up earlier in the guide on how to unlock Characters or went on a night Date with Nikki.
