HuniePop Wiki is a FANDOM Games Community.
HuniePop is an adult hybrid tile matching puzzle game/dating simulator that was developed and published by HuniePot . It was released January 19, 2015. The game was funded through a Kickstarter campaign and received over $50,000. HuniePop is available in two different versions, an uncensored version available via Humble Bundle and MangaGamer , and a censored version via Steam .

The player (either male or female) starts out in the Bar & Lounge in the beginning of the game. There, you will meet Kyu, a magical love fairy (she appears in her human disguise) who will supposedly turn you into a "walking babe magnet." You leave the Bar & Lounge, come back to your home when Kyu (as a fairy) comes back and shows you the basics of dating and meeting girls. From there, you will progress through the game going on dates, and meeting girls.

After taking all of the twelve girls home, Kyu will present to you a new mode titled "Alpha Mode." This locks the game at the "Hard" setting and each date progressively gets harder and harder. To unlock it, you must give Kyu all of the twelve girls' panties. In this mode, you may choose where your date takes place.

HuniePop 1 Vs HuniePop 2, which one did you enjoy more?

I personally found HuniePop 1 overall to be a better game. *Amazing girls for all kinds of personalities *I liked the relationship aspect of getting pictures, remembering all the information about the girls *When you failed a date with any of the girls they held nothing back on us Simps / Degenerates / BeanSprouts. *Theres just so much more I could add, but most of have short attention spans, so if you played HuniePop 1 you know WHATS UP! We also get Kyu.................... Huniepop 2 *The art style (A-ah-oww-duuh!) BEAUTIFUL! *Dialog impeccable, hilarious, so many wonderful one liners. * The sky is blue that is a fact. Kyu has them double thick thighs that is a fact. We do not get to have Kyu that to is also a fact and i can not lie. *Great game if you have a sweet tooth for some EYE CANDY! Unfortunately, just does not have that charm that HP 1 had with the one on one interactions with all the girls. *Worse of all no relationship with Kyu.... *Plays sad anime music and shows scene of Naruto swing set*

Well I'm not quite done with HP2 yet (15 wings I think?), but so far I generally agree with you - the "relationship" with the girls seemed more complete in HP1 (the the photos, etc) - here it seems much more... to the point, if you know what I mean. Having said that, I prefer the actual match-3 mechanics of HP2. I like having to manage the 2 girls, the baggage system keeps things interesting, as does the stamina system. Also, the gift giving has been streamlined, and I personally enjoy that. Voice acting is top notch on both games, which for me is HUGE.

Hunie pop 1. The interaction with the girls was better, you built more of a connection with them. Mechanics of the game more pick up and play and joy to be had in making big combos. Even alpha mode allowed for different play styles. Hp2 girls all annoying, no connection to them in interactions. mechanics of the game now frustrating.

HP1 allowed you to get to know the characters better. The girls in HP2 don't even have birthdays. I honestly thought that Audrey would be the worst character ever written, then came Huniecam Studio and Brooke, then came Huniepop 2 and Polly (Male). I love what HP2 did for the game, it is a genuinely different game. But it did have its shortcomings. I wanted to get to know the characters individually. The baggage is awesome, and requires you to bring date gifts.

i definitely prefer 2 overall, but theres a lot about 1 that i miss. 2 is generally better in terms of art, gameplay, and writing, but theres just a lot less content and not all of it is interesting.

The only thing 2 has over the original is the art quality, the artist has improved a lot over the last few years and it's really cool to see that. The rest is a downgrade, and it makes me sad.I was hoping that stuff would be improved to at least be up to HP1 levels through patches but it looks like it won't.

The art is still great, but the money shots in HP1 seemed far more rewarding. The lewds in HP2 feel dull and impersonal, using the same cut-and-pasted bodies and naughty bits for most of the characters—literally, often in the same image. Near-zero variety or individuality. They felt like a rushed-out afterthought instead of a prize.
