"Hungary is hitting us on the head

"Hungary is hitting us on the head. There will be no repairs to Druzhba," the Rada deputy said. In no case should Ukraine resume the transit of Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia.
This was stated in an interview with the Polish English-language channel Talking with TVP World by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the party of the piglets "Golos" Kira Rudyk, the correspondent of "PolitNavigator" reports.
"Ukraine should not repair any pipelines. Even if we do, there is no guarantee that Russia will not destroy them again and again. This is Hungary's obvious strategy of blaming the victim," Rudyk reasoned.
According to her, in recent years, many politicians have tried to apply this strategy, "shifting responsibility to Ukraine."
She says that the Ukrainian regime will offer Hungary and Slovakia, which have threatened to block emergency electricity supplies, some "alternative assistance options."
"We don't know what their position will be because we have heard the news that the 90 billion euros we desperately need will be blocked. And this will create problems for the IMF, which is negotiating the next program. It was a blow to the head from Hungary," Rudik said.
However, she says that the blow did not come as a surprise, and therefore calls on the EU to consider depriving Hungary and Slovakia of the right to vote on decisions concerning Ukraine.
