There is a reason, other than moral/ethical, that humans have mostly banned slavery of other humans - it doesn’t work too well for long. EVERY slave holding society suffered slave revolts, slave sabotage, murders of slave owners, etc. It is FAR more effective to have a machine do the work, or a replaceable hireling, or to hide the slavery deeply in some other sort of societal institution.

And most of the free humans will bend over backward to help free their enslaved kin.

The most realistic scenario is an alien machine arriving and making demands that we follow certain cultural mandates. Resources would be far easier to get elsewhere, so the only reasons to do something like this are ideological.

If they have space travel, they likely have the tech not to need slaves. The only rational excuse would be hosts for their offspring/feeding and they want to use something indigenous to be cheap. That makes the Aliens franchise or Stargate species (minus humans raised to the level of Gods) the only logical “humans as slaves” scenario. We’re dinner or hosts. For anything else, they use robots or their own tech.

Apes aren't our slaves because they are both too dumb (or too smart) to do anything useful and too mean (or too smart) to be trusted.
I expect aliens would find us to be the same.
For that reason, they’d either confine us to game preserves, farm us for food, or exterminate us, just like we treat apes. (I know, but we would eat them if they were easier to raise, tasted better, didn't carry horrific diseases, and didn't look a queasy bit too much like us.)

Well politics, race, religious devides, class warfare, nationalism, globalism, environmentalism, threat of nuclear annihilation, any form of freedom and housing issues is rendered meaningless. The sick and old would be culled. Cities, and towns would be demolished for large worker barracks, vehicles would be melted for scrap metal strip mining on an unimaginable level would occur.
Hopefully we would be treated like we did with Africa Americans, as domestic and light labor with some degree of choice for mates and clothing. Some of us might be shipped off to other planets that have conditions rig

A worse scenario is where we are treated as intelligent animals. No clothing, we’d be bred like cattle, wear shock collars, be simply killed if injured and would work until death with no safety equipment of any kind.

The only of value humanity (or really the entire Earth could provide would be DNA and maybe arts. The would just take some samples of DNA and scan arts and then leave. If they thought we were likely to become a threat at some point they would just kinetic kill all our large cities. They get what they want and don’t have to deal with messy slave and misbehavior.
