WE’RE HIRING: HR GENERALIST (CONTRACT | ~20 HOURS/WEEK)

Our client is a fast-growing entertainment company looking for a smart, proactive HR Generalist to join their team on a part-time contractor basis—approximately 20 hours per week.
This is not a “sit quietly in the HR corner” kind of job. They’re looking for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, building things from the ground up, solving problems, and being a trusted resource for leadership and employees alike.
🎭 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll help build and strengthen the people practices that support their continued growth, including:
* Developing and establishing HR policies, procedures, and processes
* Managing and improving employee onboarding
* Serving as a go-to resource for HR questions and employee inquiries
* Supporting performance management, including performance reviews and standards
* Assisting leadership with employee relations and disciplinary matters
* Helping ensure HR practices are consistent, thoughtful, and aligned with company goals
* Jumping into whatever HR-related challenge comes our way—because at a growing company, there’s always something!
* Partnering directly with senior leadership to help shape the employee experience as we grow
Who We’re Looking For
You’re someone who:
* Has solid, hands-on HR Generalist experience
* Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership
* Can balance the details with the bigger picture
* Has excellent judgment, communication skills, and discretion
* Enjoys creating structure where there isn’t always a playbook yet
* Is adaptable, resourceful, and genuinely enjoys working with people
* Doesn’t mind occasionally saying, “Sure, I can figure that out.”
