A man dubbed 'The Human Ken Doll' after going through more than 1,000 procedures in 20 years has insisted that body modification is a form of 'art' and that he's motivated by creativity rather than being unhappy with his looks. 
Justin Jedlina, 40, from Los Angeles , had his first cosmetic procedure aged 17 and went on to spend an estimated $1million on further surgeries, priding himself on being the most modified man in the world.
Speaking to Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond on This Morning, he said he sees cosmetic surgery as an expression of his creativity. 
He went on to say his procedures had gone on to help people who needed to have reconstructive surgery, and said he would never encourage people who didn't need cosmetic surgery to go under the knife.  
Justin Jedlina, 40, from Los Angeles, had his first cosmetic procedure aged 17 and went on to spend an estimated $1million on further modification, priding himself on being the most 'modified' man in the world
Reflecting on his history of resorting to cosmetic procedures, Justin he only felt he has truly 'needed' his first ever tweak.  
'When I was younger, I had a lot of anxiety surrounding my nose, I thought it was large and by age 14, I knew it was something I wanted to fix,' he said. 
He went on to explain his idols, who include Michael Jackson, Joan Rivers and Dolly Parton, all 'overstylised' their looks as they became more famous. 
He had to wait to be of legal age to have his first surgery, which was the first of five nose jobs. 
Speaking on This Morning, Justin, pictured, who's had more than 1,000 cosmetic procedures, said he views it as an 'artistry' 
'For me, most of what I had after my first nose job, was a "want" in my life,' he said. 
'I knew I didn't need them. I never felt my body was less than or was dissatisfied with it.' 
'It really for me was a quest in my artistry and creativity, and an expression of the thing I found beautiful, not necessarily what the Western World found beautiful.'
He went on to say he was heavily involved in preparing his surgeries and had pioneering surgeries, such as back implants, and designed some of the implants that were put in his body. 
'I conceptualised those surgeries, I custom-designed those implants,' he said, adding he perceives himself as an 'innovator' and a 'guinea pig'. 
The cosmetic 'pioneer' said his work has helped people who need surgery for medical reasons, adding that the title Human Ken Doll makes him sound superficial 
He went on to say some of the cosmetic procedures have 'opened the door' for people to have reconstructive surgeries if they have birth defects or have been injured in accidents. 
He admitted not all his procedures were '100% successful or 90% right,' but said: 'When it comes to those procedures, there's always something I learned and educated myself.'
He said he disagreed with the statement that he was 'addicted' to plastic surgery, saying cosmetic surgery was already 'rampant' around the world. 
'If we allow things to stay the same, there is no growth in that industry,' he said.  
'It always takes someone to be the pioneer and be put out on the cross if you will,' he said. 
Justin, pictured, said he wouldn't recommend plastic surgery to everyone and can tell when someone who comes to him for advice has body dysmorphia 
Reflecting on his 'Human Ken Doll' moniker, Justin said he didn't particular feel concerned by the name.  
'I did a segment on 20:20, which is an investigative journalism show, and they called me the Human Ken Doll,' he said. 
'I can't say I have disdain for the name but it does make me sound a bit superficial.
'My quest is one of perfection, i don't really feel that way, I love the process of body modification as in artistry,' he said. 
Justin said he didn't like the term 'cosmetic addiction' and told Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond that he was a 'guinea pig'
Justin has his own cosmetic surgery consulting business, which he started after his rise to fame, and helps people find the right procedures for them. 
He added that there have been times where clients have 'body dysmorphia,' and that he won't put them forward for surgery.
'I couldn't get them a referral or advice because no other plastic surgeon would work on those people, it's rare that that happens but it does exist,' he said.

The Human Ken Doll, aka Justin Jedlica, made an astonishing return to E!’s cosmetic surgery show Botched season 17 . The episode, which aired on February 22, featured the Human Ken Doll returning to the show, but not for another surgery. His objective was to show off to his Botched doctors the results of the surgeries that they had warned him against.
Botched features Dr. Nassif and Dubrow correcting people's failed plastic surgeries. Each episode is hour-long and films the complex process of correcting failed operations, which includes complex procedures, an intensive recovery process, and the final revelation of a successful transformation.
After receiving heart-wrenching cosmetic surgery from Dr. Nassif and Dubrow in 2015, Justin went through more surgeries to completely transform his look. He explained that he underwent a wide variety of surgeries, including both buttock lipo and injections, matching facelifts with his mother, and full torso recontouring.
He later disclosed that the most unbelievable surgery that he had was getting Botox injections in the scrotum. He explained in the episode,
Before meeting up with the two doctors, Justin, the Human Ken Doll stated in the episode,
Moreover, the doctors were amazed to learn about the unbelievable surgeries that Justin had gone through, and they were equally impressed with how things turned out for him. Dr. Dubrow expressed to him in the episode, saying,
Till date, the Human Ken Doll has had 1000 cosmetic surgeries since the time he found an interest in sculpting his body.

He was heartbroken and decided to stay with Pixee Fox also known as the real-life barbie doll. Pixee had also parted ways with her partner due to her obsession with plastic surgery. Justin later made an appearance at the Millionaire Matchmaker show in 2016 in the hope of finding a partner.

However, it appears that his acquaintance with Miss Pixee was only temporary as he appeared on the show Millionaire Matchmaker sometime later in 2016 with hopes that Patti Stagner, the show host would help him find love.
He has not been as successful in this regard as he has been with his surgeries. The host of the show after engaging him in conversations and setting up a blind date for him noted that he spends a whole lot of time talking about his implants with his date, thereby making the whole meeting about himself and not for the two love seekers. To this, he has been working on improving on it and we do wish him well.

Justin had his first back implants at around 2016 and replaced them in 2017 that cost him £16,000. With his first latissimus procedure, he designed the implants and conceptualized the surgery procedure. They were, however, a little too big and he embarked on his second surgery to trim them. At seventeen years old, Jedlica started to examine his first corrective procedure, rhinoplasty. Propelled by watching Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous as a high schooler, Jedlica saw body molding and restorative medical procedure as meaningful of the well off, stylish ways of life he tried to copy. His folks didn’t endorse of restorative improvements and Jedlica had to hold up until he could lawfully settle on the decision for himself.
Four days after his eighteenth birthday celebration, Jedlica experienced his first corrective system, to recreate his nose. As of 2012, Jedlica had experienced around 190 restorative methodologies. These have included rhinoplasty, chest implants, shoulder implants, bicep implants, triceps inserts, temples shaving and lifts, cheek augmentations, subpectoral implants, gluteoplasty, and lip increases.
After high school, he had begun an intensive search for a plastic surgeon who would improve his nose. The young lad was 17 at this time, his parents strongly opposed this idea and as such, the best he could do was to wait till he became an adult legally. Four days after his eighteenth birthday in the year 1997, he climbed his first surgery/operating table for his first cosmetic/plastic surgery which was to give him a nose job, chest, biceps, and triceps implants.
The outcome of this convinced Justin Jedlica that indeed, it was possible to improve his looks and identify with the physically flawless celebrities he only saw as a kid only on television and magazines. Reports have it that he has had about 340 cosmetic procedures which have cost the celebrity over $400, 000. The body works he has done include chest, shoulder, biceps, triceps implants, rhinoplasty, brow shaving and lifts, subpectoral, calf, and thigh implants, gluteoplasty, cheek and lip augmentations.
Ken doll designed four pieces of back implants that were made to give him an illusion of wings and had them inserted into his back by surgeons. It is not known currently if he plans to append flying wings to them. However, having come this far, it won’t be surprising to see him do that.
