Human Design Mandala

In front of you is the Human Design Mandala (Rave Mandala).

This is a “map” on which the primary calculation is made on the position of celestial bodies at the moment of birth. Then the gates are transferred to the rave map and we see the familiar bodygraph with centers, channels, hanging gates.

In this way the unique genetic imprint of any individual is created.

The mandala is a colorful wheel surrounding the Bodygraph in the center. It is divided into 64 parts representing the Gates. 64 Gates correspond with 64 Hexagrams I Ching (external ring of symbols) and 64 sectors of the heavenly sphere, having a clear position in the Bodygraph.

Color of Gates on the Mandala corresponds to color of the Center in which they are in the Bodygraph. Each Gate is divided into six sub-sectors called lines (indicated on the wheel by serifs on the arc of each Gate).

Fans of astrology will notice that there are no variables (for example, Houses), the position of the heavenly bodies in the gate is unambiguous and the error of a few hours often does not change the picture of calculations. Although it is better to know the time of birth with maximum accuracy.

Mandala clearly shows the synthesis of ancient sciences (astrology, I Ching, Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, Kabbalah). It is not one of them in pure form. Synthesis creates a complete structure of knowledge according to the law of mathematics: the synthesis is greater than the sum of its parts.

A simple analysis of the Mandala and the correspondence of gates from different centers shows interesting patterns:

1) All the gates of the G center (yellow rhombus in the center) are evenly spaced, in 45 degree increments (or every 8th gate).

2) The gates of the centers of awareness (Spleen and Emotional) are almost symmetrical about an arbitrary axis (lines 10-15).

3) All the gates of the Spleen Center (orange triangle lower left) are consecutive and are in Libra and Scorpio.

4) Almost all of the Emotional Center gates (beige triangle bottom right) are in Aquarius and Pisces (plus the 6th gate in Virgo).

5) The Throat Center Gates (blue square in the center) is clustered at the bottom of the Mandala in Taurus, Gemini, Cancer and Leo.

6) The Root Center Gates (burgundy square at the bottom) is mirrored in Cancer, Capricorn and Aquarius.

7) The gates of the Head Center (dark blue triangle at the top), Adjna (purple triangle at the top), Sacral Center (red square in the center) and Ego Center (green triangle in the center) are located in 3 groups between the gates of other centers.

8) Almost all gates in Virgo form full channels (29-46, 59-6, 64-47, and the 40's automatically mirror the 37's).

9) Most of the “leadership” gates are in Leo (7, 31, 33).
