Here is a step by step guide on how to the installation of a downloaded
huawei firmware update file :-

1. Now run the Unlock and Flash code generator software and through Huawei tab generate the unlock code and flash code for your IMEI.
2. Now close the dashboard/software of your modem.
3. Go to the E230 Firmware Update folder and open it.

3. If you want to unlock your E230, you can do it after the firmware update.
