Here is a step by step guide on how to the installation of a downloaded
huawei firmware update file :-

1. Now run the Unlock and Flash code generator software and through Huawei tab generate the unlock code and flash code for your IMEI.
2. Now close the dashboard/software of your modem.
3. Go to the E1553 Firmware Update folder and open it.
4. Select "E155XUpdate_11.609.18.00.00.B418 " files and always run as an administrator.
5. If, when a security warning window PC pops up and click "Yes" the operation as instructed.
6. Now it will ask you for a password, provide flash code as a password.

2. Close any type of connection programs like Mobile Partner or Branded mobile software. (Modem must not be connected to the internet, modem light must be blinking, the software must not be running)
3. If you want to unlock your E1553, you can do it after the firmware update.
