PUTIN-BACKED Wagner mercenaries have deployed thermobaric weapons during the continued heavy fighting in eastern Ukraine.
Footage recorded in the Bakhmut area of Donetsk Oblast appears to show the use of thermobaric weapons by Putin -backed Wagner assassins as fiery explosions can be seen.
It comes as 10 million Ukrainians have been left without electricity according to Volodymyr Zelensky .
During his nightly address, the Ukrainian president said: "There are emergency shutdowns in addition to planned, stabilization ones.
"Currently, more than 10 million Ukrainians are without electricity. Most of them are in the Vinnytsia region, Odesa region, Sumy region and Kyiv ."

A senior UN official has welcomed the extension of the Black Sea grain deal.
According to Reuters, Rebeca Grynspan told the media in Geneva: "We are really very pleased on the extension of the Black Sea grains initiative. It is very good news for the world, for the food insecurity crisis that we are going through."

Pope Francis has said The Vatican is ready to do anything possible to mediate the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
Speaking to the Italian daily newspaper La Stampa, he said: "But everyone must commit to demilitarising hearts, starting with their own, and then defusing, disarming violence. We must all be pacifists.
"Wanting peace, not just a truce that may only serve to rearm. Real peace, which is the fruit of dialogue."
The UK's MoD have claimed Russian forces are "making preparations in case of further major Ukrainian breakthroughs" after setting up new trench systems up to "60km behind the current front line".
The Ministry said: "Following the withdrawal of its forces from west of the Dnipro River, Russian forces continue to prioritise refitting, reorganisation and the preparation of defences across most sectors in Ukraine.
"Units have constructed new trench systems near the border of Crimea, as well as near the Siversky-Donets River between Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.
"Some of these locations are up to 60km behind the current front line, suggesting that Russian planners are making preparations in case of further major Ukrainian breakthroughs.
"It is likely that Russia will attempt to eventually redeployed some of the forces recovered from Kherson to reinforce and expand its offensive operations near the town of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast."
The United Nations secretary-general welcomed an agreement to extend the Black Sea grain deal.
Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukraine's infrastructure minister, announced the deal had been agreed with an extension of 120 days.
The UK's Foreign Minister, James Cleverly also Tweeted: "Welcome news that the Black Sea Grain Initiative will be renewed until March. Grain will continue to flow from Ukraine to help feed the world."

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said his country and its economy are in danger due to its closeness to Russia and Ukraine.
“The rule is that if there is a war in your neighbourhood, you cannot feel safe, either," he said.
"You can’t feel physically safe. Look at the deaths of two Polish people who had nothing to do with this war.
"And the industrial facility that allowed us to bring oil from Russia to Hungary via Ukraine has been shot up. So not only is our physical safety at risk, but the security of our economy is also lacking.”
Putin's forces are reportedly being relocated to the region of Luhansk, following their retreat from Kherson last week.
According to the Kyiv Independent, Putin's forces have arrived in the town of Novoaidar.
Upon retaking Kherson, Ukrainian troops were met with jubilation from the local population, as they took to the streets in celebration.
President Zelensky took to Twitter this afternoon to share details of a conversation he had with Turkish President Erdogan.
Turkey played a key role in the creation, and subsequent renewal, of the Black Sea grain initiative.
This deal allows Ukraine to export crucial grain supplies to countries across the globe.
In a phone call with President @RTErdogan we praised the extension of the grain deal. I thanked for supporting our #GrainfromUkraine initiative and assured that Ukraine will remain a guarantor of food stability. Security and energy cooperation were also discussed.

Ukraine's Prime Minster told reporters today that almost half of the country's energy infrastructure has been disabled after a series of Russian bombing campaigns.
"Just on Nov. 15, Russia fired about 100 missiles at Ukrainian cities. Almost half of our energy system has been disabled," Denys Shmygal said.
"In these conditions, we need additional support from our European partners, both in the field of energy, supply of additional equipment and additional financial resources for the purchase of additional volumes of gas, as well as for other support of the energy sector," he said.
Finland is set to begin construction on a 124 mile-long barbed wire fence on its border with Russia.

"The area and volumes of mining in the territory of Ukraine have increased ten times compared to the pre-war period," said Serhii Kruk, who heads Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Turkish president, has claimed neither Russia nor the US planned to use nuclear weapons.
Following a meeting in Turkey a readout of his comments was given to reporters.
Erdoğan said: “Let me say this, according to information I received from my intelligence chief, neither of the sides will use nuclear weapons as of now.”
Ukrainians have been warned that blackouts could last hours in the coming weeks, following a fresh round of Russian bombings on the country's energy infrastructure.
“You always need to prepare for the worst - we understand that the enemy wants to destroy our power system in general, to cause long outages,” grid operator Ukrenergo’s chief executive Volodymyr Kudrytskyi told Ukrainian state television.
“We need to prepare for possible long outages, but at the moment we are introducing schedules that are planned and will do everything to ensure that the outages are not very long.”

The train service in the city of Kherson is set to be restored this evening, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Defence.
The service will depart from Kyiv at 22:15 local time today to arrive in Kherson the next morning.

The Kremlin's Ministry of Defence has accused President Zelensky of war crimes after a video emerged allegedly showing Ukrainian troops executing Russian soldiers.
The Ministry said: "New videographic evidence of massive execution inflicted by Ukrainian servicemen on the unarmed Russian prisoners of war confirms the atrocious nature of the current Kyiv regime led by Zelensky and those who protect and support him.
"The brutal murder of the Russian servicemen is neither the first, nor the single war crime. This is a common practice in the armed forces of Ukraine that is actively supported by the Kyiv regime and straightforwardly ignored by its western patrons.
"But Zelensky and his henchmen will be forced to stand trial of the court of history, peoples of Russia and Ukraine, for everyone, and for each tortured and murdered prisoner."

According to a document reportedly obtained by news outlet Politico, the EU has frozen a further 68billion Euros worth of Russian assets.
Mostly located in Belgium, these assets often belong to Russian oligarchs who hoard wealth abroad.

Despite recent victories for Ukraine, its chances of a quick military victory remain slim, a top US general has said.
General Mark Milley, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, told the Pentagon on Wednesday: “The probability of a Ukrainian military victory – defined as kicking the Russians out of all of Ukraine to include what they claim as Crimea – the probability of that happening anytime soon is not high, militarily.
“Politically, there may be a political solution where, politically, the Russians withdraw. That’s possible,” he added.
Mr Milley added that Putin’s forces have failed at “every single one” of their objectives since entering Ukraine.
Colonel General Sergei Karakaev said the RS-28 Sarmat missile - which can blast targets at almost 16,000mph - was successfully tested for a second time.
Karakaev made the announcement at the Military Council of the Strategic Missile Forces held in the Moscow region.
The Russian defence ministry said: “According to the commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Colonel-General Sergei Karakaev, the active re-equipment of the Strategic Missile Forces with modern missile systems continues.
"Successfully conducted flight tests of the missile system 'Sarmat'."
Ukraine's foreign affairs minister has confirmed that Ukrainian specialists are "already working" on the site in Poland.
Dmytro Kuleba said: "Ukrainian experts are already working at the site of the tragedy in Przewodów caused by Russian missile terror against Ukraine.
