Malvaviscus arboreus is a species of flowering plant in the hibiscus family, Malvaceae, that is native to the Southeastern United States,Mexico, Central America, and South America.
Turkโ€™s cap (Malvaviscus arboreus var. drummondii) is a bushy member of the Malvaceae family, which includes all the various mallows, rose pavonia, winecup, hibiscus, okra, cotton, and hollyhock, among others. The bright-red flower of Turkโ€™s cap, however, is not the regular โ€œmallow-likeโ€ open five-petal bloom. The specific name, arboreus, refers to the tree-like appearance of a mature plant. It is now popular in cultivation and goes by many English names including Turkcap, Turk's turban, wax mallow, ladies teardrop and Scotchman's purse. Its flowers do not open fully and help attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Yesterday Mike and I went out looking at Christmas decorations and did a little shopping. I was really happy to see gifts featuring "mature" ladies!! This is where my new buddy icon came from.
Helmut and the ladies are doing fine. Helmut has grown into a bit of a bully, especially around dinner time, but the ladies tolerate him because he has a great tail!. He's also grown a bit larger.....
Note: My presence on Flickr will be sporatic until the New Year, although I'm planning a few photo shoots (searching for the green flash), and that includes commenting on photos. I'm working on 3 projects that I really want to complete by the end of the year including gilding the fighting cocks and finishing the prehistoric meets the modern necklace. Please don't think I've forgotten you, I haven't, but these projects must get done. Thanks for understanding.
I wish i could shoot this better. I used automatic focus and it needs to have the digital white thingee defeated. This top is silver threads and shines...like blinding light...and digital won't catch it...
you can see a bit on the back shoe...that shining silver.
The bottom is ENCRUSTED WITH STONES. It's crepe, that stetches,
assymetrical hem has a up flip in the front.
What a find this is. A treasure. It's above my knees but looks so cute.
I will wear this to church...its crisscross bustline...and fits so beautiful. Even the sleeves have slits...at wrists. These slits are ez access.
LADIEs...SILVER GOLD AND METAL IS HARD, SCRATCHY, Beads...glitter...a big no no no...men love soft material.
We women want glamour...thats ok but real feminine is silk, chiffon and feathers...sequins...are hard and a man doesn't want to snuggle up to hard things, cutting things.
These shoes...are all leather...and they are in the form of leaves...beautiful
My hubby gives me all that i want or need.
Nude color and extremely sheer pantyhose. Red and gold finger nails. Whoops ... i should have worn a new silver anklet...sorry Michael.
I am not a cd, tv, or crossdresser, but many of my friends are.
I was invited to shoot a fashion show at a local Cafe. The dresses came from a new dress shop in our town. What is neat about this new dress shop - is that you can buy or rent the designer clothes and jewerly. Several young girls and one mature lady were the models - they did a terrific job. The ladies who had bought tickets for the show were treated to a wonderful bunch with tea. They were given the tea cups and saucers and other gifts. It was a unique experience. The second photo I posted is all the models standing in the store window - my first try at this. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday - my hubby and I are going out of town today so I'll caught up with all of you later Sunday night.
I always enjoy taking pictures of my wife with her beautiful friends!
For all botty coughing aficionados, Horace๐Ÿท has just got wind of the following statement, which has just been released in the last few minutes, with the emphasis on released.๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ’จ
The village synchronised botty coughing team have announced that due to current circumstances and restrictions, they will be putting their much anticipated exhibition tour on hold, well there might be the odd brrrrp as many of the competitors are of a mature age and muscle control is not what it use to be.๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ‘ต
When interviewed over Zoom by members of the worlds press associations, Mrs Trebillcock who had been appointed team captain as winner of the inaugural village freestyle botty coughing championship expressed much disappointment on behalf of the team saying โ€œthat after weeks of hard practice, sweat and tears they were completely deflated by the decision and it had taken the wind out of their sailsโ€.๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ญ
She went on to say, that all of the squad were a credit to their profession, not once did they miss a training session, plus they had diligently stuck to a very special diet of high octane curries, beans, mixed spices, all washed down by copious amounts of Sharpโ€™s Doom Bar in order to keep in the peak of condition.
Two of the ladies who cannot be named for legal reasons in fact needed extra coaching, so out of their own pocket employed a private tooter.๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ””๐Ÿ””
Mrs Trebillcock also praised the team members on how immaculate they had kept their uniforms, as there was always going to be the odd mishap when practicing new moves. ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Mrs T concluded her statement by saying, โ€œWith a keen wind, training sessions will hopefully resume with much gusto in 2021โ€.๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ
I will leave you with this thought,
Why does everyone think that Piglet broke wind, because he plays with Pooh.
Thank you so much for viewing my photos, I get a lot of fun capturing them.
Your banter and comments are so appreciated, take care out there.

Older adults are at increased risk for loneliness and social isolation because they are more likely to face factors such as living alone, the loss of family or friends, chronic illness, and hearing loss.

Its been non-stop shooting for the past week or so, this was a reshoot of something that didnt work before. Different model, different stylist, same killer make-up lady. Its a change up for me I think y'all may hate it but I have slowly come round to liking this one a lot. A lot...... Its odd how it can often take a week until you know you have the image you need, sometimes you have to look at it every day, sometimes just ignore it and go back to it later. Some images need time to mature I guess. (oh and sally here turned 22 yesterday- I will post her birthday polaroid pic sometime soon).
Shot at the dope than dope Garage Studios where I will be shooting most of the time.
this one and the shot before it, the polaroid, where heavily inspired by www.flickr.com/photos/elaisted/ who is a stone cold killer photographer of strong ladies..... go see.....NOW.
First off: What a JOY it was to take these photos! In the usual run of things I loathe photographing the outfits. Things took a dramatic turn for the better when Frigg Ragu gave me an unbelievable present in the shape of her poses. And what beauties they are: No weird deformations on the avatar structure, no funny angles jutting out where there shouldn't be any. And beautiful, fluid body language on top of technical expertise! Thank you sooooooo much Frigg! You literally made my day!
This one here is a bit of a change of pace. What with summer in RL and all that, we have been doing quite a bit of naughty stuff of late with only prims and little bits and bobs barely concealing the parts which need to be concealed on a virtual body to allow one to enter even a mature sim these days.
So, for all those bashful avatars out there, here is one which is well covered indeed. The "manbo!" sailor takes its name from an amazing animated attachment of that name created by a most generous soul named Gonzo Shan. I have put the maracas that will let you "manbo!" as an extra little gift into the box which also includes male/female skins, garments, a naval collar and cap, upper and lower "manbo" sleeves and bottom flares, boots, a skirt for the ladies and some rotating naval pennants for ladies and gentlemen. The hair is by none other than the amazing Bryce Tully who is THE hair designer to go to if you want really natural looking ultra short hair in Second Life.
