How to use the secret code in Vartagram

The secret code in Vartagram will help you hide the accounts and secret chats* of your choice.

If the function is configured, selected accounts and secret chats are hidden by default (after a set time or by clicking the "Hide all secrets" button). To see them, you need to enter a secret code.

How to install and configure

1. Settings -> Manage secret codes -> Add secret code.

2. Specify the secret code and confirm it by re-entering it.

After that, the secret code settings become available. You can:

• select accounts and secret chats to hide;
• set the time after which accounts and secret chats are hidden if the app has been inactive;
• select an account or chat to which the application will automatically switch after entering a secret code.

Secret codes can be created in any number.

How to use

Set a secret code and select the accounts / secret chats to hide.

Set a timeout time after which the accounts / secret chats will be automatically hidden if the app is inactive.

After that, you can use the messenger as usual. If the application is inactive, the selected accounts / secret chats will hide themselves after the time you set. The push notifications will not be visible for hidden accounts and secret chats.

To display hidden accounts / secret chats: Settings -> Enter secret code.

You can hide accounts / secret chats without waiting for a timeout. To do this, select the "Manage secret codes" section in the secret code settings and click "Hide all secrets".

*This means secret chats, available only in mobile versions of Telegram messenger, not regular chats.
