How to trade BASIK using MetaMask 🦊

I'm getting too many Uniswap-related questions, so here is a guide to help all of you. Hope it helps, and in case it doesn't, I'm available at @jackbilton_manager

1 - Using Metamask from Mobile Phone

1. Download the wallet app:

Skip this step if you already have MetaMask installed.

• 🍏 iOS: MetaMask on App Store
• 📟 Android: MetaMask on Google Play

2. Set up your wallet:

Skip this step if you have already configured your MetaMask wallet.

• Open MetaMask and select "Create New Wallet".
• Click "I Agree", then scroll down and click "Agree" again.
• Save your seed phrase in a secure place. This is crucial for recovering your wallet.
• Confirm that you've saved the seed phrase.
• Tap on "Ethereum Main Network" at the top, then find "BNB Smart Chain" in the list, click "Add" and confirm the network switch.

2.1 Purchase BNB using a bank card:

❗ This is to help folks who are not registered on Binance, Huobi or any other exchange. If you have an account on an exchange, I'd recommend to swap your assets to BNB and withdraw it to your MetaMask wallet in BNB Smart Chain network.

• Click "Buy BNB".
• Enter the desired amount in EUR or USD.
• Choose an operating partner, for example "MoonPay".
• Provide your email address and verify it.
• Enter your billing address.
• Provide your card details.
• Wait for the confirmation of your purchase.

3. Buy Coin ():

Make sure your wallet is connected to BNB Smart Chain and has sufficient BNB balance. You can trade BEP20 tokens as well, but small amount of BNB is required to pay the network fee.

• At the bottom, click the "Browser" (🧭) button.
• Copy the link to the address bar and open the website:

  PancakeSwap may ask you to import an unknown token (UNK), this is because the default network is Ethereum, but coin is deployed in BNB Smart Chain. Just click "I understand" or "I acknowledge risk"

• Click "Connect Wallet", then select "MetaMask". Confirm connection in your wallet.

4. Next, in order to avoid slippage, on the exchange click on the ⚙️ icon and turn on "Expert Mode"

Check the box ✅, click the "Turn on Expert Mode" button, enter "confirm", click "Ok" and confirm

- We return to the exchange. In the "BNB" section, enter the amount for which you want to buy the token

• the input (top) token and make sure the output (bottom) token. If you can not find it by name, try searching by the contract address:

• Enter the amount of input tokens you want to exchange in the top field (I recommend clicking MAX).

Then click “Swap (Swap Anyway)” and confirm the purchase operation

6. Extra: Troubleshooting

😲 tokens do not appear in my wallet!

😲 MetaMask shows error after I confirm the swap transaction!

🦜 Try configuring the gas price manually. To do that, click the "Estimated gas fee" value, select "Advanced options" and set both "Max priority fee" and "Max fee" to 3.5 GWEI.

2 - Using Metamask From PC/MAC

• Open MetaMask and select "Create New Wallet".

• Tap on "Ethereum Main Network" at the top, then find "BNB Smart Chain" in the list, click "Add" and confirm the network switch.

• Select the input (top) token and make sure the output (bottom) token. If you can not find it by name, try searching by the contract address:

• Press the swap button and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Refer to the troubleshooting section on the bottom of this page in case of any problems.
