How to trade VENOM using TrustWallet 🛡

Setting up TrustWallet and using Uniswap to purchase VENOM in under 15 minutes. Hope it helps and DM me to @sz_zhao in case of any issues.

1. Download the wallet app:

Skip this step if you already have TrustWallet installed.

• 🍏 iOS: TrustWallet on App Store
• 📟 Android: TrustWallet on Google Play
• 🖥 MacOS/Windows: Trust Wallet on Chrome Store

2. Set up your wallet:

Skip this step if you have already configured your TrustWallet.

• Open TrustWallet and select "Get started" → "I don't have a wallet".
• Create your 6-digit passcode.

• Save your seed phrase in a secure place. This is crucial for recovering your assets if you lose or remove the wallet app!
• Confirm that you've saved the seed phrase.

2.1 Fund your wallet:

❗ You can only trade VENOM for ETH and ERC20 tokens. Keep in mind that a small amount of ETH is always required to pay the blockchain fee.

• Click "ETH", then "Receive".
• This is your deposit address for ETH and ERC20 tokens. Use the copy button to copy-paste it to the withdrawal page of your exchange.
• Alternatively, if you have a Binance or Coinbase account, use "Deposit from exchange" button.

3. Buy VENOM:

Make sure your wallet is connected to the Ethereum Mainnet and has sufficient ETH balance. You can trade ERC20 tokens as well, but small amount of ETH is required to pay the network fee.

• At the bottom, click the "Browser" (🧭) button.
• Copy the link to the address bar and open the website: https://app.uniswap.org/swap?outputCurrency=0x777777770f62b50c6c93d2ace413254561db3884

• Click "I understand" button below the U.S. warning.
• Click "Connect Wallet", then select "TrustWallet". Confirm connection in your wallet.

• If the output (bottom) token is not VENOM, click "Select token" button. Copy the contract address to the search field:

• Enter the amount of input tokens you want to exchange in the top field (I recommend clicking MAX).
• Check the output amount: keep in mind that it's fine if it displays that you'll receive smaller amount in USD, the actual value of tokens you are receiving is always equal to the value of tokens you are giving (minus 0.3% exchange fee).
• Press "Swap" button and confirm the swap. Don't be confused by "Swap" button changing its color, this doesn't affect the trade. Type "confirm" if requested by the website.

4. Sell VENOM:

• On the same Uniswap page, click "↓" button
• Make sure the input (top) token is VENOM and select the output (bottom) token.
• Enter the amount of VENOM tokens you want to exchange in the top field.
• Press the swap button and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

• Congratulations! You've just purchased VENOM!

5. Extra: Troubleshooting

😲 VENOM tokens do not appear in my wallet!

💁‍♂️ Make sure you have imported VENOM smart contract in TrustWallet. To do this, go to the main page and click "Add tokens". Copy VENOM smart contract address to the search field:

Click "Add custom token" button and paste the address once again. Make sure the information is correct and click "Save".
