How to Record Video from Android

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of the screen.
  2. Click on the "Screen Recorder" icon. (If your smartphone does not have this feature, use a third-party application such as XRecorder.) You may need to scroll through the screen to find this icon. If there is no icon, click Edit and drag the Screen Recorder option to the Quick Settings panel.
  3. Select what you want to record and click the Start button. The recording will start after the countdown.
  4. To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the notification with the video recording icon.
  5. Next, upload the video to YouTube. To do this, click on your avatar on YouTube - My Channel - Video - Create - Add Video.

Screen recording programmatically on iOS

  1. In the settings, select "Control Center", go to "Customize Controls" and click on the plus sign to the left of the "Screen Recorder" option.
  2. To make the feature quick access, return to the home screen and drag the bottom of the screen. A screencast icon will appear in the Control Center as a red video recording icon. Drag it to the main display. Ready!
  3. By default, the recording is recorded without sound. To add permission for the microphone, force-click the screencast icon to open a menu where you can enable the microphone.
