How to post your work to get reviews?
Rajiv AnandPlease keep following points in mind when posting your write-up in the group:
- Write a compelling title for the post and ensure to proofread it before hand
- Use #review to get review for sure; (all posts tagged with review is shared in @ThePeepTimes where we feature the work of our group members), in case you don't want your work to be shared please use #noshare with your post.)
- Any one hashtag (#) the category such as #poetry, #story, #quote, #article, #micropoetry, #essay, #ShortStory, etc.
- Hashtag (#) your personal identifier such as #ra for Rajiv Anand.
- Write any Author’s Note for readers (optional)
Most importantly, you must review other member's work/s too if you are expecting reviews from them. You need to have enough review points in order to be able to post your work.
New members can post upto 3 posts without the need of review points. Once you have exhausted your review points, your posts will stop showing in @WritersClub however, it will still be featured in our official channel @ThePeepTimes.
Why personal identifier tag is important?
Why is it important to use your personal identifier tag when you are posting your work for review.
Hashtags are wonderful, if used properly. Like any other hashtag if you tap on #prompt, it will show you all messages in this group which is tagged with #prompt.
Likewise, let's suppose my personal identifier which is supposed to be unique for you. It maybe your pen/sudo name or your original name with hashtag.
Ex: if my personal identifier tag is #ra, clicking on that hashtag (#ra) will immediately pull all message thread tagged with it. This way I can immediately look for my own work in this group and probably at times even redirect anyone to my work.
Note: You must ensure to keep it unique and to use it with every post you share for review.
In short, your post must have only three hashtags
1. #review
2. your own personal identifier [ex: if your name is Charlie Chaplin then your personal identifier can be #cc]
3. Any one category tag ex #poetry, #story, #microtale, #shortstory etc.
4. #noshare in case you don't want your post to be shared in @ThePeepTimes
5. If you add #feature, we will likely publish that on our website thepeeptimes.com
PS: Using #review is must when sharing your work to get review.
