These lots were introduced after the DFW airport parking started experiencing heavy rush and the roads became congested. The North Cell Phone lot has around 53 spaces and is located at the North end of the airport, before the North toll plaza. The airport's governing board has decided to increase the charge of Terminal parking to $27 from $24 to compensate for the loss incurred last year due to the pandemic. With Remote parking lots closed currently, most passengers would have to depend on Terminal parking lots to use DFW airport parking. Passengers flying out of Dallas won't be thrilled at the hike in parking fees. Travelers always have the option to choose offsite parking garages for safe and hassle-free parking at lower costs. The airport board also plans to expand the airport by adding nine more gates by 2026. The expansion will surely increase demand, and DFW airport parking will get even busier.
