Started by Wonderingman , 14 Oct Posted 14 Oct This is perhaps a quite odd request but I need your creative ideas to find a person I met at an airport the other day in Frankfurt. The story goes like this:. I travelled from Sweden to Rome to work there as a personal assistent for a handicapped boy. On the way home, I met this wonderful german girl at the airport in Rome. I spotted her in the waitinghall in front of our gate. I was with company and so was she so we pulled it off 'behind their backs'. Then we started to board the plane and as the boy I was working with sat in a wheelchair, we got to board the plane first. I was hoping that I should see the girl again but the plane was almost boarded and there were no sign of her. Suddenly I see her and I am stunned when I see that her seat is across the hall one row in front of me. She spots me after quite a while and smiles, she looks happy and maybe also thinks 'what a coincidence'. She sits between to strangers so it is not easy to keep on playing our little game. But we sit the whole flight and look and smile. After landing, she stands up and we constantly look at eachother for what feels like hours. It is like we both think 'finally we can see eachother without being disturbed'. I want to talk to her but before I know it she is gone, and I have to sit with the person I was working for. This happened a couple of days ago. What happened is unexplainable. So what I would like to do is to get in touch with her. I am not expecting anything at all if I should be so lucky to get in touch with her. Maybe she has a boyfriend, maybe she was just goofing around after all? I live in another country. I am not naive, or maybe a little. But still she touched me deeply and I would just get in touch with her. This has been constantly on my mind for a couple of days now. Is she gone forever? Maybe we would meet someday, in 10 years or so if we would have exchanged e-mailaddress? Who knows? So what can I do now? I have written down the flight number and her seatnumber I instinctively memorized it after she disappeared. So there is information stored that contains her name, address and phonenumber in some computersystem. The question is how do I get it? I know they protect the integrity of every passenger, they will never give me any information about the girl straight out. So I am desperatly calling out to you guys, where do I go from here? Is there anyone working or that has worked on an airport and knows the routines they have? If I call them and tell them the whole situation, would it be possible that they at least can send her a message from me? Or is it very strictly forbidden? Is there any other way to get the info? If you are working at the airport in Frankfurt and can help me in any way or know someone who can, please contact me. I could try to prove that I am a normal nice guy with only good intentions. I just turned 24 and work as a personal assistent, helping a boy in a wheelchair. We made a song together that is out on youtube, and we are working with an album now. I also study to become an assitent nurse. I will be working with the elder in some kind of residential care in a near future. I will neve make any big bucks in this kind of job but that is not why I do it, I do all of this because it gives my life a purpose. I just want to convince anyone who doubt if I am to be trusted. I have pictures and all sorts of ways of proving this should it be needed. You might thing that this might amuse TT'ers. But this is not the first time that someone has put up such a story here. And by the way, what makes you think that the girl might be here in TT? For a matter of fact, what makes all the people who have lost someone, searching for someone, stared at someone in the Ubahn etc think that a post here will help them find the other person? What are you, mute? Why didn't you go and talk to her and give her your business card? Now if you manage to track her down - no matter how, she'll think you're creepy. The best you can hope for now is to run into her again somewhere and let's be honest there's fuck all chance of that happening. You could always try calling the flight company I doubt they will help you, but you can always try. I don't think she would be on the forum here unfortunately. It really sucks to be in a situation like that. I can understand you very well and I don't judge you for not talking to her, I had a similar situation when I was also 24 and it was also in Rome, I was eating at a restaurant alone and there was that girl eating with her parents not far from me, we were looking at each other every now and then and smiling too. Then they all got up, she waved goodbye and so did I To be honest man, you should have taken your chance when you had it, and talked to her. I am sure she would have admired your courage. The Airlines wil never give you her information, they could be sued for that. As much as I would like for you to find her I think it will be extremely difficult since you do not even have her name. You had an opportuinty man and you missed it. There is one thing you could do though, depending on how determined you are, you could always go to this one website i think it's like studioviz or something like that, it's a german social site where a lot of german young men and women have profiles, I've never been on it so I don't know how it operates but i know a few germans who have it. They can't know you didn't even talk to her. I don't know, a book, a wallet, a cellphone, whatever. If she was on a business flight, maybe they can tell you the company who booked her ticket, if they can't tell you her name. You said she was not travelling alone, do you remember anything from the people with her that could give you a hint on what kind of business it was? Also, she might be from Frankfurt and she might not! If you don't speak german though, you might need help on that. I had a similar thought about 'item she may have lost on the plane'. However, the airline would probably just offer you to pass it on to them and they will contact her. If they did, if she's honest, she'll tell them she did not lose or forget anything on the plane and that's it. If she's a bit crooked, she'll say, yes, I did lose it, give it back which would have been your chance to leave your business card with the item 'she lost' but if she's dishonest like that, would you really want to go any further with this? As for an item she might have kept of yours, the airline might do the same thing, offer to contact her for you and she'll just say it didn't happen and think you were accusing her of stealing something. I think better yet, forget about her. If you are meant to be, you will meet her again, if not, you will meet somebody else. I had a simaler experience, flight from Belfast to London. Coming home from a long week at work. Noticed a girl looking over at me fairly often whilst we where waiting. Didnt think much of it until we got on the plane and she sat next to me for the whole flight. We chatted for the hour and half and just as I was leaving the airport she grabbed me and asked for my number which I ofcourse gave her. I had a gf at the time so it went no where but it was a very intersting and fun experience. I would say that she was probably visiting her BF in Rome mate, especially if she was on her own and fairly young. Go and have a cry over it and dont forget that your located in the heart of a country full of beautiful women. Some judge me here but I know many have been in similar situations. I had also a job to do and I planned to talk to her after we landed. I thought that we would wait together for the luggage but I was so up in the blue that I forgot that my luggage went directly to the plane to Sweden doh! Long haul: If you just speak of women in terms of hot and see them as objects, you wont have a clue of what happened. What I hoped for was to get in touch with someone who works at the airport. At work there are policies and I understand that but in private, people are more understanding. Or for tips of other ways around the system. There was something about this girl, hard to explain, we connected in some way. I am sure some here understand. As crazy as I am when I try to contact her now, just as crazy is it to let something like this go. But nothing you can do about the past. So here would be my plan:. You found something of hers it can be anything , and would like to know how it can get back to her. Of course you can't expect anyone to give you her information, but if you give the airline some item with your contact details in it and a note! The airline keeps its customer data confidential, meanwhile being able to send her the package. I mean, if you really have to find her, that's the best way to do it. Call the airline ahead and ask what sort of procedure they have in place and what you have to do. I think that's the best chance you have of finding her. Good luck and let us know what happens :. I think if you get the right person on the phone you may be able to trick them into giving you the name. You could always state that she is your partner perhaps by giving the seat name some how get them to mention her name? There must be a way. Once you get the name check out studivz.
