How to create a BSC wallet in MetaMask (Mobile)?

❗❗ Warning! Do not share your mnemonic seed phrase or private key with anyone. These credentials only give access to the wallet; they cannot be used to solve any kind of errors or issues. Remember to create a backup for the same, note it down on a piece of paper, attach it to the most important documents at home, and you're done! This will ensure recovery of your wallet anytime if you lose your wallet or the device itself. ❗❗

NOTE: If you don't have MetaMask wallet, download and install the application. (download)

STEP-1: Creating a Wallet in MetaMask.

1. Open the MetaMask wallet and click 'Get Started' on the welcome window.
2. Select the option 'Create a Wallet.'
3. Add a strong 'Password', confirm it, enable the biometrics (optional), put a ‘check’ in the box besides the undertaking regarding password, and click on the ‘Create password’ button.
4. Click the ‘Start’ button, read the instructions thoroughly and proceed to tap the ‘Start’ button again; enter your password and click ‘Confirm.’
5. This is the most important part in the whole process of wallet creation. Click on ‘View’ button to unveil the ‘Seed Phrase,’ safely back it up by noting it down on a piece of paper. Click ‘Continue.’
   (Make sure to note down the seed phrase words without spelling mistakes and in the given order).
6. To confirm the seed phrase enter it in a proper sequence as noted down previously and tap ‘Complete the Backup.’

Congratulations, you have successfully created your wallet in MetaMask.

• Now, press the ‘Done’ option.
• Agree to the Terms and Conditions that pop up by clicking on ‘I Agree’ button.
• You may choose to ‘Take a Tour’ where MetaMask takes you through the various options of your wallet. Or, you may skip it by simply clicking ‘No Thanks.’

(If you wish to take a tour later, click on the ‘hamburger/3 horizontal lines’ icon on top left of the wallet, go to the ‘Browser’ section, scroll down, you will see a ‘Take a Tour’ box, click on it and go through the tutorial).

STEP-2: Adding the Binance Smart Chain Network to MetaMask.

 Observe the ribbon/strip at the top of the wallet. Under the ‘Wallet’ heading, you will find that the default network of MetaMask is set to ‘Ethereum Main Network.’ Click on ‘Wallet or Ethereum Main Network,’ a list of all the networks available in MetaMask appears, which does not include Binance Smart Chain/BSC Network. You will have to add this network manually.

1. Click on the ‘hamburger/3 horizontal lines’ icon on top left of the wallet.
2. Go to ‘Settings.’
3. Press the ‘Networks’ option.
4. All the available networks will be listed. Click on ‘Add Network’ button.
5. A page titled ‘New RPC Network’ will appear.

Enter these details in the given form -

• Network Name – Binance Smart Chain
• RPC Url – https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
• Chain ID – 56
• Symbol – BNB
• Block Explorer URL – https://bscscan.com

Click on the ‘Add’ button next, and the Binance Smart Chain will be added to MetaMask.

Crosscheck the list of networks by clicking on ‘Wallet,’ at the top ribbon. You will be able to see Binance Smart Chain in the list under ‘Other Networks’ section.
