How to change safety email for Baidu account

Before Start

• Its important to change safety email for your Baidu account after buying it.
• Did not change the email may loss account.
• If you brought Shared Account, there is no need to do the following steps.

Detail Steps

1. Make sure you have connect China VPN and logged in. (If your IP address is not China, then system may not allow you to change email)

• If you do not have China VPN, you may try Urban VPN: https://www.urban-vpn.com/ (Tested will work. No involvement with oneleaf.icu. Recommend to uninstall it right after changing email)

2. Enter Baidu Safe Center. Skip the connect step if you do not have China mobile phone number.

3. Follow the picture to verify current @21cn.com email. (REMEBER: click the blue button like the picture showed below. Do not click unbind email, or you might lose this account)

4. Login provided 21cn email here: https://mail.21cn.com. Get 6-digits code from the @21cn.com email you can find the address and password in account information page.

5. Type in 6-digits code and click blue button to finish verification.

6. Type in your own email. Gmail is support, just replace @gmail.com with @googlemail.com to make it work.

7. Type in 6-digits code get from your own email and click blue button to finish.

8. Done.
