How to buy KROM using Arbitrum

In this tutorial, you will learn how to buy KROM using Arbitrum Network.

1. Setup Metamask Wallet for Arbitrum network

1.1 Open Metamask Wallet and Click on the top-left button

1.2 Click Settings

1.3Click Networks

1.4 Click Add Network

1.5 Here you need to add the Abiturm network

Add the Arbitrum Network manually by following the steps below.

Network Name: Arb1
RPC: https://arb1.arbitrum.io/rpc
Chain ID: 42161
Currency Symbol: ETH
Block Explorer URL: https://arbiscan.io

And then click Add

2. BRIDGE YOUR ETH/TOKENS (L1 → L2)

To use Arbitrum One (L2), you need to first bridge your assets onto Arbitrum One from Ethereum mainnet. Visit our bridge here.

2.1. Login to the bridge with your wallet and make sure you are connected to the Ethereum mainnet network.

2.2. Select the token you want to bridge in the token drop-down menu.

2.3. Enter the amount of ETH/tokens you want to bridge over in the “L1” field and then press “deposit”. Follow the prompts on Metamask.

After you submit the transaction through Metamask you can expect your funds to arrive on Arbitrum One within roughly 10 minutes to an hour (depending on congestion).

Also, make sure your MetaMask wallet is set to the Arbitrum One network so you can see your funds when they arrive.

3. After successfully bridging from L1 to L2, click the link

3.1 Click import

3.2 Enter your value and click swap

3.3 Confirm the transaction on your wallet and you are all done.

4. WITHDRAW YOUR ETH / TOKENS (L2 -> L1)

THERE'S AT LEAST A 7 DAY WITHDRAWAL PERIOD.

ONCE YOU SEND YOUR FUNDS THROUGH THE BRIDGE, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 7 DAYS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THEM ON MAINNET.

4.1. Click the arrow in the middle of the page, then select the token you want to bridge in the token drop-down menu.

Make sure you are connected to the Arbitrum One network.

4.2 Enter the amount of ETH/tokens you want to bridge over in the “L2” field and then press “withdraw”. Follow the prompts on Metamask.

Please make sure you leave enough ETH to pay for the transaction, otherwise, there will be no Metamask popup.

THERE’S AT LEAST A 7 DAY WITHDRAWAL PERIOD.

ONCE YOU SEND YOUR FUNDS THROUGH THE BRIDGE, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 7 DAYS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THEM ON MAINNET.

4.3 You’ll see an unconfirmed transaction which will give you the count down for how long you have to wait until you can claim your funds.

Once the countdown is done, switch to the Ethereum mainnet network on your wallet and press the “claim” button within that transaction row to receive your funds on L1!
