How to bind KidGram to ELARI SafeFamily

Attention! Without connecting KidGram to your SafeFamily account, you will not be able to use the parental control functionality, and your child will not be able to view or chat in the app. You can only bind one KidGram account for your smartphone or tablet to one ELARI SafeFamily account.

Preliminary preparation

On the parent's device

Install the ELARI SafeFamily app on your device (as a parent):

1. Open the app store of your platform and search for the ELARI SafeFamily app

2. Install or update the app

3. Launch the app and register by following the app's instructions

IMPORTANT! If you already have an account, log in using your username and password

On a child's device

IMPORTANT! The KidGram authorization code does not arrive via SMS and/or Call, be sure to log in to the Telegram app with a child account on the child's device before starting the KidGram authorization. After completing the KidGram authorization, you can remove the Telegram app from the child's device

Install the KidGram app on your child's device (smartphone or tablet):

1. Open the app store of your platform and search for the KidGram app

2. Install or update the app

3. Launch the app and log in by following the app's instructions

After logging in to KidGram, if it is not already bound to the ELARI SafeFamily parent account, a screen with the KidGram bind code will be displayed. This code will be required in the ELARI SafeFamily app to bind the KidGram account to the ELARI SafeFamily parent account

Binding KidGram to ELARI SafeFamily

1. Open the ELARI SafeFamily app on the parent's smartphone

2.1. If you don't have any child devices connected, the setup wizard window will automatically open. Select "Smartphone or tablet with the KidGram app"

2.2. If you already have a connected child device, then on the main screen, click on the child's profile avatar in the upper right corner, then click on the “+” button. On the page that opens, select “Smartphone or tablet with the KidGram app”;

3. Go to the KidGram account entry screen. Enter the KidGram account phone number in the international format (+XXX XXX XXXXXX), which is used on the child's smartphone or tablet

4. Enter the bind code that appears in the KidGram app on your child's smartphone or tablet

IMPORTANT! If KidGram does not display a bind code, it may already be bound to your other SafeFamily account. Contact support for assistance

5. Fill in the child device profile and complete the KidGram binding

After completing the authorization process in the KidGram app and linking it to ELARI SafeFamily, you and the contacts you have authorized will be able to communicate with your child using the Telegram and KidGram messaging apps and share amazing content with them!
