How to become a freelance engineer?

DESCRIPTION OF THE ENGINEERING PROFESSION

Engineers are professionals who generally hold the position of "Project Manager" within companies. They are called upon to:

Design new products and lead their implementation;

Innovate to prepare companies for the challenges of tomorrow;

Resolve the various dysfunctions linked to the products they have designed or to those that already exist.

They also study the balance between companies' supply and market demand in order to ensure the profitability of the projects on which they are working.

The engineering diploma is obtained after a university training of Bac + 5 level (Master 2) in a public or private school. After the baccalaureate, it is possible to directly integrate an engineering cycle or to take a preparatory class for 2 years beforehand to obtain a dut. Undergraduate students from certain universities can also enter engineering schools for 2 additional years of study. Whatever orientation chosen, the course is generally punctuated by internships in companies.

A freelance engineer has essentially technical missions which fall within his field of activity. Among other things, he could be mandated to:
