A satirical op-ed is the literary equivalent of yelling in a tuxedo. You�re here to mock, but with grammar. The trick is writing in the voice of someone who doesn�t realize how ridiculous they sound � while you, the author, guide the irony. Pick a real issue. Choose a fake (but believable) persona.
