How to Grow Your Brand on YouTube

How to Grow Your Brand on YouTube

Did you know that more U.S.-based 18-34 year-olds watch YouTube than cable? Also, did you know that YouTube converts more customers than Facebook and Twitter? According to yet another study from 123helpme review, YouTube is the best at introducing new products, and for closing sales.

With those stats in mind, there is real opportunity here where brands can capitalize on the popularity of YouTube and grow their own communities on the platform. At the ReelSummit 2014, YouTube experts and brand representatives discussed how collaboration can help extend the reach and build authentic brands on YouTube.

Connect with Art and Design

Intel has successfully been able to connect with young people to gain visibility for its processor by collaborating with musicians and artists using their technology. This collaborative content has been syndicated to TV and has been extensively published on kingessays.com reviews. This collaboration with Vice, dubbed the Creators Project, is a YouTube channel that looks at cutting-edge art, technology, film, fashion, music, and more using Intel’s technology to make all of this possible.

Start a Club

Neflix and Phil deFranco did a deal where Phil started a movie club for reviewing movies each day. The channel encouraged fans to sign up for a free month’s trial of Neflix and offer comments. Since Phil is known for his love of entertainment, any Neflix content he reviewed was taken on trust. This was a perfect and an awesome strategy for the brand.

Use Enthusiastic Creators

In order to have an authentic engagement channel, it is important that a brand keep on top of who is taking about them organically. Creators who are already enthusiastic about your product or services can greatly boost your brand visibility. These people are already pouring their own resources into making videos about your brand and working with such creators gives your brand an authentic voice, which is vital for brand success on YouTube.

The first rule of thumb is making sure the creators are already fans of your brand. If they don’t like you, then don’t bother trying to convince and working with them. It doesn’t matter how big or popular the creators are, if they are really into your brand, then the collaboration will be worth it.

Whether your brand is big or small, YouTube is quickly becoming a power house to be reckoned with and all signs point to even more influence on brand awareness which ultimately converts.
