How to Get "Top Lords" Free Diamonds: My Tips
Go here: Get Top Lords Free Diamonds Codes
I am not one of those people who figured it out overnight. In my first three weeks of playing Top Lords, I spent my hard-earned diamonds on the most idiotic things imaginable. And yes, I mean four minutes on a building's timer. Four minutes. Past me was a different person entirely
But trust me, I'm doing this because I care - if I can save at least one person from making the embarrassing rookie mistakes I did, then my long, soul-searching post about how I accidentally purchased 30 identical common hero skin copies is not in vain
(Go ahead, ask me. My screen was glitching, and I panicked.)
So without further ado, here are the lessons I've learned, mistakes I've made, and diamonds I've shed in the name of Top Lords.
Before Starting: The Big Picture
Diamonds are the premium currency in Top Lords. You can use them to summon desirable heroes, equip exclusive gear sets, speed up construction, and more. However, diamonds are a scarce resource, and outside of a generous tutorial honeymoon phase, the well runs dry pretty quick. You see others with fully upgraded legendary squads while you struggle to afford even a single 5-star hero. Does this scenario sound familiar?
That's why I'm here. Let's change that.
Tips
Tip 1: Completing Daily Tasks is the Key to Diamonds
I know,
I know. Every guide starts with this, it's the most obvious tip in the book, and you're thinking "Ugh, why is this the first tip?" But hear me out - I've done a month-long tracking run of my diamond gains, and doing all daily tasks will get you around 3,000+ diamonds in that period
That's right, three thousand. All because I complete a measly set of daily tasks. The most important thing is to completionists - do them all.
I know what you're thinking; I barely have time to do the daily arena battles, much less PvP battles
Well, those final completionist rewards are where the diamonds are
I do my dailies right when I log on to the game (after my morning coffee, of course). It might not be exciting, but Future You will thank Present You for those 3,000+ hard-earned diamonds.
Tip 2: Campaign is a Diamond Mine (Especially for New Players)
When I was new, I didn't understand the value of just playing through the game. It wasn't until a couple of weeks later that I realized just how many diamonds I could get from simply completing campaign stages! I barely played the campaign for the first two weeks because I was busy with side events and PvP. When I decided to go back and do some story progress, I managed to do around 40 stages in one sitting and had enough diamonds for a full 10-pull!
Tip 3: Join an Active Guild
If you have any sense of sensibility, you would've joined an active guild. Trust me, when I first started playing, I joined a guild with barely any members, and we didn't do any events or boss fights. Then my friend invited me to his guild, which was actually active, and I realized just how many diamonds events, boss rewards, and gift exchanges could provide. Events especially can net you thousands of diamonds - just last event, my guild members and I got 500 diamonds each for reaching a certain point in the event! If your guild chat is empty, it's time to find a new guild, I'm afraid.
Tip 4: Be Smart About Events - Don't Waste Diamonds on Everything
A lot of the time, events are a dime a dozen, and you might find yourself tempted to spend all your diamonds on the first one that catches your eye
As an experienced player, I advise against this.
Some events are worth your time and effort; some are not
Events that reward you for extra performance, like extra diamonds for spending a certain amount of diamonds during a certain period, are worth investing in. Events that just give you a discount on certain things are not.
On the other hand, if there isn't a major event happening or one that you know about, it's best to save your diamonds for later
My biggest rookie mistake was spending around 2,000 diamonds on an average mid-week event when there was going to be a major limited-time 5-star hero banner the next day. It broke my heart to see my guildmates pull that coveted legend while I had only 47 diamonds to my name. Always save your diamonds if you don't know what's in store.
Tip 5: Claim All Achievement Rewards
Achievement
Rewards
Do you see those achievements? Notice anything missing? Of course, you do. You should've claimed those rewards already.
Achievements are some of the easiest and most rewarding things in the game. Unlock certain achievements, and you'll get a hefty sum of diamonds as a reward. There are hidden achievements that I've claimed that give you over 800 diamonds at once. Set a reminder to claim all your achievement rewards at least once a week.
Tip 6: Arena and Ranked Reward Weekly
Not a fan of PvP? Understandable. As someone who didn't like arena battles in the beginning, I sympathize with you. Of course, winning in arena gives you loads of diamonds, but it's not healthy to spend all your time and energy trying to reach the top 10. Arena rewards are given out every week at arena reset, so just maintain a decent rank, and you'll have a heaping helping of diamonds just for playing ranked matches. Try playing arena just after arena reset; the matchmaking system is a little more lenient. Try to play people who are around or below your power level rather than higher; that's an unnecessary challenge. Leave the top 10 sweats to the sweatlords; I'll be happy with my participation reward.
Tip 7: Watch Ads for Extra Rewards (It's Worth It, I Promise)
Ugh, ads. Yes, I know, I'm the last person to complain about ads. Especially games with ads in them, which is everything nowadays.
However!
Top Lords gives you an option to watch a short advertisement and earn extra diamonds and rewards. It lasts only 15-30 seconds, and you can watch multiple ads a day
It's not glamorous, and it's slightly soul-crushing to watch an ad for another mobile game while playing a mobile game, but 20-50 extra diamonds a day add up to a whopping 600+ a month! (That's money, my friend.) I try to batch my ad watching whenever I have free time, like waiting for my microwaved food to heat up or watching TV commercials. You can watch ads while multitasking; the diamonds don't know you weren't paying attention.
Tip 8: Claim Free Redemption Codes
One of the best ways to get free diamonds in any game is to claim redemption codes. Now, Top Lords doesn't exactly promote this as a major method of getting diamonds, but the developers do have a history of giving out free diamonds, stamina, and other resources through their social media, discord server, and YouTube channel. Every now and then, they'll do a special live stream or collab with another content creator, and those are prime times to get free diamonds. I personally follow all the official Top Lords social media accounts and have notifications enabled. It may be a little much, but I've gotten over 2,000+ diamonds from codes alone in recent months. Where to look: the official Facebook page, Twitter/X account, Discord announcements channel, and the community-run Reddit forum. Chances are, there are people there who keep a running list of current codes. And those people are doing god's work.
Tip 9: Be Smart About Spending Diamonds
This tip is more about not wasting diamonds on unneeded things. What's the point of earning all these diamonds if you're just going to waste them on idiotic things? (Looking at you, my past self.)
Things to spend diamonds on:
Limited or legendary hero summon banners
Spending events
Stamina refills for event milestones
VIP XP, if you're a masochist
Things not to spend diamonds on:
Speed up timers (be patient, it's not that hard)
Regular banners
Buying resources that you could get for free
Using revives in the campaign (return stronger)
My personal rookie mistake was spending 300 diamonds to instantly finish a building's progress that had 11 minutes left because I wanted to do the next upgrade before bed. I could've just waited those 11 minutes. Or set an alarm. Or anything other than spending my hard-earned diamonds on that stupid upgrade. I still think about this at least once a week.
Tip 10: Think Long-Term
I'm going to give you some advice that isn't really a tip but more of a mindset shift. Listen carefully.
The best players in Top Lords aren't the ones who do a ridiculous amount of grinding everyday; the ones with the most diamonds are the consistent, non-impulsive players who do the day-to-day tasks and save their resources for when they need it most. When I first started playing, I had what I call 'diamond burning hands' - the moment I saved up a good amount of diamonds, I always felt antsy and wanted to do something with them. Now, I set savings goals for myself so I can save up more diamonds for bigger things. 'I'm not touching my diamonds until I have 5,000' or 'I'm saving all my diamonds for the anniversary event' are just a few examples. When I do finally spend my savings, it always feels so good to know that I did it right. It's like having a piggy bank on your dresser; you let it fill up, and then you treat yourself. That's the philosophy behind it.
Bonus Tip: Connect With the Community
Half the reason why I know all this information is because of the amazing community that is Top Lords. Tips, guides, strategy discussions, event countdowns, and code sharing happen everywhere all the time. I've learned so much from other players, and I'm just one of many. If you're someone who prefers to figure everything out on your own, this tip is for you. Ask 'silly' questions. I asked my guild if there was a way to un-spend my diamonds once, and instead of making fun of me, three of my guild members sent me guides on how to manage my diamonds better. Gamers helping gamers - you love to see it.
And so, I leave you with my Top 10 Tips for Earning and Conserving Diamonds in Top Lords. Nothing groundbreaking or earth-shattering, just some things I learned and mistakes I made. If I had to highlight one particular tip that I'm most proud of, it would be to complete daily tasks and save for major events. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for me in Top Lords, but even if I'm just spending my daily diamonds, I'm happy.
