How to Download Playlists From Spotify

On top of the Pop Music Play Music feature that lets you add playlists to your library, you can also add songs to a playlist from a list of songs or albums.

Playlists is a music service, and like any music service, it lets you play music you've downloaded to the cloud. (You can also play songs that are in your library on a computer, but we'll talk more about that in a bit.) Playlists also lets you share your collection with other people, and you can access the service on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Playlists also lets you download songs to your computer for offline listening, but that's a whole different topic. If you've got a Playlists Music subscription, you can access Playlists from your computer using the Playlists Music Player, or download it to your computer's music folder on a Mac. Playlists can also be accessed from the Playlists Music app for iOS and macOS, as well as the web browser on your iOS or macOS device.

When the song is added to your queue, you'll see a summary of all the songs in the playlist. The Playlists app will also include your current position on the queue and the song's full length, making it easy to see how long you've got to listen.

You can also use the Playlists app's search feature to search for songs. You can enter song titles or artists to search for specific tunes. A pop-up menu will then appear with options to add the song to a playlist, add it to a queue, add your location, or mark it as Shazam-certified.

Finally, you can share the song you found with a friend or tell them the song's title. You'll now have an option to add the song to your library (which will add it to your collection) or download it to your computer. A pop-up menu will appear with a button to share the song on Spotify or Playlists.
