How to Buy a Hero in the Marketplace?

If there are any chests in the Chest Sale section, feel free to buy one. Click "Buy" and go through allowance* and confirm the transaction in the MetaMask dialogue window. After that press “Buy” once again.

*In simpler terms, the Allowance is a permission (or a proxy) you give to the smart contract in order to allow it to spend — on your behalf — the token you want to use through its dApp.

You will find chests purchased in your Inventory.

Click “Open” below your chest and confirm the gas fee for the operation.

Wait for processing and voila — 4 Axes Hunters have appeared in your inventory.

You can also buy heroes on the Marketplace. Heroes purchased can be can listed on the marketplace as well as the chests. Go back to Inventory and click “List to market”.

Other features

Staking

In Axes Metaverse, you can stake your hero in the Mining camp to generate passive income. For that, follow a simple guide:

1. Go to Inventory, find a hero and click the “Stake a hero” button.
2. You can choose any hero you want to be staked. Heroes of different rarity have different hash rates.
3. The higher the rarity and the level of your hero are, the higher his hashrate is and therefore the reward you get.
4. Go to a mining camp. Here you can see both total and your mining power, as well as the staking reward. You can also collect the reward in the camp by clicking the “Claim” button.
5. You can stake the hero you play with but his energy recovery rate will be reduced.
6. Heroes’ tiredness increases during the mining process, their hashrate drops and they mine less.

Summon

Summoning a hero means you get only 1 hero and you can’t choose a race (Human, Elf or Treant). You pay for 1 random character with a 33.3% chance of each race probability. The rarity chance is equal to chest dropping. Read more about chest drop probability here.
